Biography

Koza Flaxmane is Krog Nocrum’s premiere tailor of enchanted garments, political whisperer, and trendsetter of “swamp elegance.” Her boutique, Stitched Whispers, is located along the sunlit edge of the Maw Bazaar, nestled between a street-shrine and a perfumed alchemy stall. Originally from a traveling textile clan out of the Eastern Marshline, Koza set up shop in Krog Nocrum decades ago—drawn by the city's raw, chaotic spirit and its untapped market for “mossy luxury.”
She quickly made a name for herself not just for her flowing, magically enhanced garments, but for her ear for secrets and talent for seeing potential in others. Merchants, travelers, and even some council aides come to her not just for clothing, but to be seen—and remembered.
Koza is closely aligned with Zivrathi Dunechain, the Merchant Seat on the council, often acting as an unofficial cultural advisor and brand ambassador for the city's “new look.” Many whisper that she helps steer fashion, commerce, and rumors all at once.
Koza is a lithe and elegant tabaxi with golden fur, spotted in dark cheetah-like markings. Her vivid green eyes are expressive and mischievous, often darting about during conversation to take in every detail. She wears a flowing multicolored dress woven from enchanted fibers, each strand subtly shifting hue depending on the light and her mood. Her neck is adorned with a thick shell-bead necklace, and she’s rarely seen without her iconic wide-brimmed sunhat—said to be woven from dried lotus-stalks and lined with divination thread.
She moves with deliberate grace, the hem of her dress always just barely brushing the ground, and her long tail sways behind her with theatrical flair.
Koza is dazzling, precise, and utterly in control of any conversation she enters. She speaks in soft tones and sly suggestions, often pausing to adjust a hem or flick a stray thread off someone’s shoulder mid-sentence. Her compliments are always layered—part flattery, part analysis, part subtle manipulation.
Though she presents herself as light-hearted and whimsical, Koza is sharp as a tailor’s needle. She keeps meticulous track of who’s wearing what, who’s sleeping with whom, and who’s about to make a move—politically or romantically. She has a warm spot for young or uncertain souls and delights in helping them “find their cut,” both stylistically and personally.
