Centaur

Centaurs are proud and noble Fey who embody the union of wild instinct and cultivated wisdom, with the lower body of a powerful horse and the upper body of a humanoid, often with elven or Human features. Their muscular equine frames grant them unparalleled speed and endurance, making them natural hunters and guardians of the wilds. Their humanoid torsos are strong and agile, with chiseled features and a commanding presence that reflects their deep connection to the natural world. Centaurs adorn themselves with symbols of their tribes, often braiding their hair with feathers, beads, and charms that honor their ancestors or depict stories of their greatest hunts and victories. Their eyes, keen and perceptive, reflect the ancient knowledge they carry—an understanding of both the primal laws of nature and the subtle currents of fate that weave through The Feywild and beyond.   Living in close harmony with the wild, centaurs are nomadic by nature, roaming vast stretches of untamed wilderness in tightly-knit herds. They revere the cycles of life and death, honoring the land by protecting its balance and punishing those who seek to corrupt it. Many centaurs follow the guidance of druids and shamans, acting as guardians of sacred glades, ancient groves, and hidden ley lines that pulse with natural magic. They view the stars as celestial guides, believing that the constellations map out the destiny of their people. Despite their reverence for tradition and nature, centaurs are not bound by rigid customs—freedom runs through their veins like the wind through the grass, and they cherish the ability to choose their own path. Though they often keep their distance from mortal civilizations, centaurs occasionally ally with those who respect the land and its creatures, lending their speed, strength, and wisdom to worthy causes. However, earning a centaur’s trust is no easy task, and those who betray them quickly learn that there is no swifter or more relentless pursuit than that of an angered centaur herd.
