The City of Glass
Devosa is the capital city of Salvastia. This massive city is a mix of yellow-white sandstone and massive stained glass everywhere, creating a beautiful contrast between the two. This city is the trading hub for most goods in the kingdom, despite the lack of many other resources within arms reach. That combined with the vast beauty of the many colored lights from stained glass windows, this city is considered of the most beautiful in the world to visit.
Demographics
The demographics of Devosa contain a large number of Tieflings, so much so it is beleived that they might originate from this location. Beyond that, there are are large number of Humans and Earthen Folk as well. Gnomes, Halflings, and some Elves are less common here, citing the heat as "being a bit much" for them.

The Hall of Rainbows:
The Hall of Rainbows is along the main street of the entrance of the city, where large stained glass windows have been prepared above the buildings along the road. Because they are above and over the streets themselves, there are times when the main street is awash with colors and lights, leading to the name. Many artist complete once per year to have their stained glass on display for Hall of Rainbows, which is considered to be a high honor. As one can imagine, breaking any of these pieces of art carries a heavy fine.
Sand Ant Races:
The Sand Ants in Havran have been domesticated for years by the Tieflings as a means of transporting good quietly across the desert thanks to their hardy nature and massive strength. For this reason, mostly the male soldier Sand Ants are used for the carrying of cargo. The female ants are then typically trained as mounts for war and races, as they tend to be faster than their male counter parts. On any given day in the massive track build for the purpose, races are taking place with various bets and stakes.
The Grand Bazaar
By following the main road along the Hall of Rainbows, you can eventually reach The Grand Bazaar, a massive open town square that is overwhelmed with merchants tends and stalls. Originally built as a town square, many merchants found it the perfect spot to sell their wares, and eventually its original purpose was forgotten. On rare occasions the Baazar is cleared out for festivals and major events, all these stalls are packed up and moved onto any open space along the roads, causing crowds.
Architecture
Buildings are made from a various mix of sandstone, mudstone, and regular stone as a means of keeping the heat of the desert out of the buildings. The building themselves are often decorated with various colored stained glass, giving a beautiful array of light in the streets. The roads are usually a mix of stone and sand, something that is nearly unavoidable due to the desert life. The buildings themselves are usually more square like in their design since there is so little rain, and it gives more space for the beautiful windows the people here make.
