Elida

The Elida are a specific group of fae, sometimes called e-faerie. They are what people consider as faeries when they think of them. There are multiple species of Elida, but they all fit the humanoid with willowy hair and insect wings. Some tower over 2-meters, but most are small and lithe.

The Elida are the emissaries of both Aiwei the Treesinger and the Stormbringer, sometimes both. Most are born to that rank, but on certain occasions some are promoted from the ranks of the Focloir (grove fae). These creatures are foolish and flighty and can be more than a little mischievous, but once you gain their friendship they are bound to you in friendship. The Fae are incorruptible and identify corruption like a farmer rids his fields of weeds.

E-fae have many powers all based on nature and time. All carry a staff of various crystal types and perform 'magic' based on their strengths. Some have control over nature, some are better fit for time magic, and the most powerful (or weak, depending on perspective) use perception and truthtelling magics. Those fae are typically found in promoted grove fae.

When they aren't being lazy near their home tree, they are serving the Riitha’Qael (Riitha) all over the multiverse. On the planet of Mohn, they assist the religious sect devoted to Aiwei Janus-face named the Silkas through the Su'lere

The Elida's Home Shard is named Beatha. It is a shadowy realm, fractured into many pieces. It is in it's own dimension where the balance of life is everything. There is no sun, rather 2 massive moons, bathing the grasslands and forests in shadowy moonlight.
