Mohn

Mohn is a world of sentient and natural animal species living in relative peace and harmony with each other after a long struggle to achieve a lasting peace. There has been no war on the planet in over 800 years. The one world government is connected by a series of republic democracies that work together most of the time. This world is a parallel world to earth in landmass, but because the cultures of so many species have so many divergent histories, the names of cities are different.   There is no poverty on this world. People are fed and taken care of by their government who in turn is kept under high scrutiny to eliminate any possibilities of gross corruption. Laws for government officials are detailed and followed by separate citizenry boards and councils.   The people of this world work towards a common good that is determined through a plebiscite vote. The people in this world are well educated and the most simple farmers are sent through SORT schooling and they are trained in the most current technologies available in the world. As people work for the common good, they are expected to do their best all the time and are rewarded for it at the end of the year by the government through their employer in the form of electronics and items people desire and are popular.   Technology is closely monitored and all waste and garbage is recycled so there is little left that cant be re-used. The world strives to live in harmony. Dr. Prudence Cotton and Dr. Mark. Maxteg's group developed unlimited planet-wide power that uses a form of fusion energy to harness the sun's energy to power the planet before. This is a series of orbital stations that direct the harnessed power to power staitions on the surface of the planet.   The same team was looking into harnessing the same engines for interstellar travel. As of yet, they have not met any other civilizations from the stars, but they are on the edge of discovery.
