Acorn Oaks

Cranberry Creek, like all towns, has its village idiot. Some are bums, some have mental issues and others, like Acorn Oaks, lack the self-awareness to know they are the Village idiot. His father wants him to take up the family trade and stop being a dumbass but being a paramedic would interfere with his LoveLife. Acorn is a sleek black squirrel with impeccable dress habits. He carries a comb in his back pocket. Any time he walks past a mirror or anything with a mirrorlike finish, such as a metal bowl or window; he whips out that comb and it doesn't matter if he just used it five minutes ago, he puts every strand in place. He wears a pair of knockoff designer sunglasses he thinks are real, Vinny the bulldog, ripped him off, but he doesn't know. He wears them all the time, both indoors and out. His boss Rose Montague forbids him wearing them while he was at work because customers complain, and he kept running into pillars and walls because he couldn't see. 
One thing Acorn has going for him is, the ladies fall for him like snow. Everywhere he goes, his good looks get the female attentions. That is until they get into a relationship with him, and it quickly falls apart. Acorn puts it on them if they can't handle his god-like physique and witty humor. There's always other fish to catch in the area. There is one exception, something he can't figure out. That smart girl Chickee who owns the yarn shoppe down the street, won't get near him. She doesn't fall for his lines. she doesn't swoon when all the others have before. In fact, she ran away from him the other day in tears. It's not normal, he needs to discover why.
