History
Malkius once tried to overthrow Carmela as ruler of the Crimson Citadel and their armies clashed for months before Carmela floated the idea of a parley. Upon meeting in person Carmela was immediately smitten with Malkius. Malkius realized this and tried to use it against her which lead to the capturing of Malkius and his army. Carmela now thoroughly pissed threw Malkius into a cell held by massive chains over a smoldering volcano without food. She told him he would be fed one a day and he could eat or be roasted alive. He ate but little did he know he was eating his soldiers that Carmela had butchered. He eventually surrendered and when he did Carmela told him what she had did which broke him. Fast forward several years later Malkius is now working under Carmela. He comes to the realization that she was not only in the right for fighting against him but he began to fall for her. As his feelings grew so did fangs in his mouth. Due to the fact that he was forced to eat his own men he became a vampire as a result. As his hunger for blood began to overtake him it was Carmela herself who willingly offered her arm to him. She told him that he wouldn't be good to her dead so if this is what it took to keep him alive she would do it. He eventually realized he couldn't hide his feelings for her and confessed to her. She blew him off thinking it was just Stockholm Syndrome. Over the following years he convinced her it was not and they started seeing each other on a regular basis. Although she is still the dominant one in the relationship they both love each other greatly and have three children together.
