Nhenur Rhome
Nhevenir Rhome was born to an affluent family of traders in Balder’s Gate as the first of five children. His parents both made sure he had the most impeccable schooling and training in the way of the family business of barter and trade. His four siblings loathed the attention Nhevenir got over the rest of them, but his father taught him and that their jealousy meant they were lazy. “After all,” his father would say “you get what you work for."
At the age of 42, with two sons and an ever-expanding empire of his family's trade business and his wife's ale distillery, he and his family moved to Mythrite from Balder's Gate. While there was confusion from his family on why they were leaving their home for a mining town, Nhevenir passed it off as a way to “invest back into a deserving community”. He, truly, didn’t know really much about Mythrite, but was willing to bring his business and influence here if it meant something much better on the horizon.
Now 44, the greying family man mostly resides at home on Charlamaine Hill along with his wife and sons who currently train to take on the family. With the current class tensions, he wants to make sure that control is maintained and society is preserved. He rarely takes guests and stays in his study should his wife’s guests come over. To those who do meet him, he comes off as a bit callous and unwilling to accept change, his beliefs really controlling most of his actions personally and publicly. He sees it as accepting his lot in life, but others see him and his actions as a trade baron as cruel and blind.
