Drarlun Muddigger

(Drarlun Muddigger, Dwarf , Male, Older adult, Mining Surveyor , Working class, Mythrilgrist ) Drarlun Muddigger has recently arrived in Mythrilgrist. With him, he brought a broiling head of hate for Elf-kind and for the Merchant class, as well as a means of fabricating propaganda for his ideals on a large scale. Drarlun looks to influence a large portion of his working-class and dwarven peers to join a movement to overthrow the “authority of the local merchants” and to seek retribution for his perceived mistreatment by the elves.
Drarlun was born a dwarven bastard of a wannabe freedom fighter and a tavern wench in the miner’s shanty on the outskirts of Neverwinter. While he was cared for by his mother, it was his father’s infrequent visits that filled both his belly and his mind. The latter of which consisted primarily of his father’s rantings of the merchant class and the elven race. When he later joined the miner workforce in the shanty, Drarlun found that the attention of others (a commodity that he was presented sparingly during his youth) was easily acquired by spreading the same tales his father was so eager to bestow upon him during his formative years. Matter-not did the truth of his preachings, any story that put dwarf-kind on a pedestal, and made the others appear as vagabonds would do for young Drarlun. He would continue to serve as a conduit for this hate until long past the death of his father and into the later years of his life.
It was Drarlun’s dwarven pride that the Mithril Insurgency, or Mithin, saw in him when he was approached to join their revolution. However, much like his father, Drarlun originally had no intention of acting on any of the rigid notions that flew so quickly through his mind. Mithin began exposing Drarlun to extreme forms of propaganda, focusing primarily on the ideals of the Dwarf supremacist movement. The truth behind this objectified stimulus was unimportant to Drarlun. Mithin sought to use this dwarf, with no family ties and a head brimming with fiery contempt to spark a revolution within Mythrite. Mithin then funded a private voyage to Mythrite for Drarlun where he was given a position of surveyor in the mines. Mithin equipped him with several potent and discrete sticks of dynamite and enough ink and paper to fuel an uprising.
