Deathsong’s Secret Library
Hidden away in Lethri Deathsong’s hermit hut lies her treasure trove; a personal library of her own. The library is completely made up of her own collection (moreso like hoarding) of scripts, texts, and tomes. Although the library is personally Deathsong’s, it is open to many who are defined as “lower-class” as well as anyone who she trusts. The library is a fairly well-kept secret solely due to how few actually know of Deathsong, but some of the upper-class have a faint suspicion of it’s existence, not doubt due to their constant sightings of Deathsong rummaging through their trash for tomes.
Much of the archive’s contents are in a… rather undesirable condition. While some books are recently purchased or remain in a fine, clean condition, the vast majority of the library is tarnished, stained, and emits a foul smell. Almost all of Deathsong’s collection was scavenged. The saying is “one man’s trash is another’s treasure”, and Deathsong has taken the saying to heart, and has made her collection the pride and joy of her life.
With much of her collection being of discard trash, Deathsong offers some more… elicit and personal documents for free in her collection. Stashed away within this secret library is an archive of discarded paperwork from business transactions, tossed out contracts, scrapped receipts. Many are expired or are of little interest, but a handful of them yield the names of proficient figures within Mythrite. Some may claim this athenaeum of tossed texts is highly illegal, but who’s to say that cleaning up another’s trash is a crime in Mythrite?
