Change of humans and lynç elves

Due to Fyayn and Lyr working behind the scenes to try and reclaim power, Merthicz punished them by drastically shortening the lives of humans, and splitting lynç elves into wood and high elves.

The two gods have been working together to attempt a coup since the war ended as they didn’t want any sort of compromise. Ätol who had been watching what was going on told Merthicz, where she decided to punish them.   Originally, humans had an average life span of 245 years, but was drastically reduced down to a mere 50 years, with some exceptions (like being a Highking that gained Merthicz’ favour). As for the elves, those who directly supported Lyr would be turned to high elves, and those who supported Erebos would turn into wood elves. Older and newer generations of each high elf and wood elf would become mixed, regardless of their opinion on the matter.
