Session 145 - December 21, 2023 Report

General Summary

Feywild Day 55 - Fall 19

• Mufins, milk and OJ were delivered in a small basket and left in front of the cottage for the group to eat breakfast, and everyone takes a little time to enjoy. Beartrum did not enjoy pumpkin muffins, and after the meal, 3 pages appear.  1 to take Merry to Elmstar and look at the archives, 1 to take Roth to Nima and the arcane crafters, and 1 to ask if Beartrum would consult on training and owlbear items.
• Merry got to meet Elmstar and then searched the visiting musician log book, finding that the times that Lady Holly was last at court are noted in Section J, and shelves 18 and 19. After finding the notes on the back, Merry is able to narrow the serach from 40 to 3 books. Unable to find anything useful in the 1st book, Merry gets lunch. 
• Roth goes to work with the crafters, shows off his meal platter and cleansing stone, which the crafters are all interested in after they figure out the sending stone.  Roth is also interested in the idea of using a crystal as the basis for the item, instead of stone, but would rather start with stone, as that is what he is used to working with. 
• Bearturm and Alethra visit the owl bear training area and stables, as Terrace is delighted to have an owl bear who can speak and offer insight on various parts of training and equiptment. Beartrum tries on several saddles and gives some great market research as well as ideas on feed and food options. When asked what he would like, Beartrum asked for BlueBerry Pie and a saddle that he likes the best. 
• Merry has lunch with the archivest, and spends the rest of the afternoon on Book 2, then moves to book 3, finding a reference to the Song of Mourning, but no music yet. She then marks the page, as Elmstar is closing up for that work day. 
• Merry goes back to the cabin and meets up with Alethra and Beartrum, who asks about keeping the blanket.  Alethra suggests a trade or to ask to buy it, and Merry suggests stealing it. They agree to disagree and eat in the dining hall, with Roth joining later back at the cabin. Long rest, 

Feywild Day 56 - Fall 20

• A small basket of pasteries and a blueberry pie arrive at the front of the cottage for breakfast.
• Day 2 of crafting, and Roth goes away to work on the sending stone construction. 
• Merry goes back to her musical archieve research, with Alethra trying to get some time with the druid that Xeres, the librarian, spoke about. 
• After 1 hour of searching in the 3rd book, Merry finds the full Song of Mourning, which she copies down and then gleefully returns to the cabin to relax and enjoy some Feywilde rest. 
• Alethra goes to see Lady Lionette, spending most of the morning with her, and then has lunch to catch her up on the gossip about the storm giant in the winter feyilde.  Lady Lionette explains that those with a deep connection to the nature of the Feywilde can often sense when someone has a deep natural connection to the Feywilde or Material plane, hence why some can tell Alethra is a druid.
• When Alethra returns to the cabin, Beartrum is asleep in front of the fire, with a personalized owl bear blanket and his saddle, which has a note from Terrace. Merry is also relaxing in the main room. 
• The three order in dinner and wait for Roth to return. Before retiring, Roth suggests finding a tuning fork or making one from this area so that we can Plane Shift if needed.  Party long rests.

Feywild Day 57 - Fall 21

• Roth goes back to the final day of crafting and will let the rest of the party know that he will call them to see the final reveal. 
• Alethra, Merry, and Beartrum go in the orchard to help with a day of apple picking. 
• After the magical item is complete, Xeres meets up to test the new sending stone and offers Roth a tuning fork from Fall Feywilde as a thank you for his help in creating the stone and teaching the magic. 
• Xeres then offers to take the party on a tour of the library, with dinner trays being ordered, and everyone having a great relaxing time, even Olly, who asks to ride on Xeres shoulder during the tour. 
• During dinner the conversation is turning to how the tuning fork for the Fall Feywilde was created and Alethra asks if one can be created for her, and she will provide the precious materials needed, and Xeres promises to arrange a meeting with the silversmith the next day. 
• Merry asks if Xeres has any knowledge of Bard Beefs, any fueds or longstanding fights between famous bards.  Xeres is unsure, but is happy to do a little research about the subject and get back to Merry.  Olly is very fan girl, fan dragoning, and it makes her much less talkative. 

Feywild Day 58 - Fall 22

• Party goes and watches the harvesting of a small branch from the main tree in the center of the Fall Court, and then it is covered in gold, which the magical words are inscriped and now Alethra has a fork as well. 
• Xeres sends a note that he will send over a report to Merry the next day. 
• Roth then goes to see Nima to brainstorm some ideas about an interplanner storeage option, like a box that can be opened on either plane and items can be added and removed to trade back and forth. Brainstorming would be required. 
• At dinner, in the room, plans were made about how to handle the crystal now that all 4 songs have been collected. Concencus is not to release the bard in the Fey, so the party works on ideas on how to get back to the material plane without using the plane shift amulet, which is cursed but no one knows what will happen once attunded. 
• The first option is to try and get directions to an open gate between the Fall Feywilde and the material plane, then maybe use the song to get to Spring where they know there is a gate. 
• Party Long rests.

Feywild Day 59 - Fall 23

• Merry gets her report on Bard's beef, and the Bard trapped in the crystal, Lady Holly is not listed on it.
