The First Laborers Are Sent Out

The next few steps toward leaving Earth are taken; the building of colonies begins in the Alpha Avior System.

With more than 80% of humanity voluntarily giving up their biological bodies in order to survive in the Alpha Avior System, the leaders of the world team up with their scientists. Sending out Laborer Bots by the ship full, they programmed them with the beginnings of designs, instructing them to repurpose material found free-floating among the asteroid belts. What few materials the Bots were allowed to dig from the planets were to be immediately reused in any capacity, unwasted.   Such Laborers will be sent out for the next 30+ years.
