Mini Bears

Cute Cuddlies!

Rock Bears/Rubble Bears

These little fur friends resemble somewhat of a bear, but much smaller in size. Their snouts aren't long, but short; more than likely to keep their face hidden as much as their boddies from dangerous predators. Colour of their coats match the rocky areas they are in from black, gray red and multi-coloured. White is very rare. They stick together in groups as they are stronger in number than alone, and are capable of taking down large threats if they need to.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Curled up they sleep in a ball next to one another. Both genders have a pouch for foraging or hunting to carry their food. They have four hand-like paws and a small cotton tail. Their ears are rounded like that of a bear, but slightly larger.

Genetics and Reproduction

Their young are called rubbies or more commonly known as rubble cubs.

Ecology and Habitats

Since they are a rather shy species, they tend to prefer harsh environments, away from people that hunt them. They make their homes or find them underground. Some are even spotted inside ruins.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Despite their look, they aren't carnivores... apart from their favouite food type. They forage herbs, berries, and fish if they have a nearby water source. They don't mind making a trek underground to find water, since they don't need it as much. They collect their food in their pouch and carry it to their burrows.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Being a close knit family, they have their own spirit magic, as all creation is born with a certain amount. They are able to communicate with one another through this magic. This is what keeps them safe from harm and why they are so commonly found among mountains. Due to their numbers they have a large range to sense danger and/or safety.
