Spear of Serenitium

While she is rarely seen with it, a lot of statues of Mara shows both the goddess and her associated weapon, the Spear of Serenitium. The spear is a divine artefact that is said to embody the fragile equilibrium between conflict and harmony, fitting right in with goddesses' combined domains of war & peace.   It is believed that the spear is capable of unimaginable destruction and at the same time a sacred symbol of unity, used to enforce peace when the words of men fail and their conflicts have spilt enough blood.   Mara herself is quite silent about how she came into possession of the spear because it's unique for such a young goddess to have such a powerful weapon. While there are no stories among the Crienia about how Mara got her weapon, there is one among the Dwarves that has a story that includes Mara and her spear.
In an era when the gods fought among themself, a young spirit, not even powerful enough to be a goddess came up to Daedhir, the dwarven god of smithing, not with a demand or even a request, but an offering: she brought with her the tears of every mortal, no matter the race, who had mourned the loss of a loved one due to war. Moved by this Daedhir created the Serenitium spear and tempered the spear, infusing it with the sorrow and hope of the mortals.

Powers

The Judgement
When used in battle, just like the wielder, the spear becomes an unstoppable force and a conduit for Mara's divine fury. it will shatter everything it touches, shields, and armour and can rally armies better than anything else. Should a soldier be struck with the spear, they will not die but instead feel the pain and anguish of war.
Peace
When Mara acts in her role as a goddess of peace, the spear emits a calming aura, even the most bitter enemies are said to lay down their arms in the presence of the spear, its said that no mortal can ignore the will of the spear without the approval of Mara. Likewise, the act of placing the spear on the ground, consecrates the area, creating a bubble where no violence can occur and it will remain so until the spear is removed.

Significance

The spear is venerated by priests, generals and commoners alike, Diplomates from the Empire of Dercia carry a symbol depicting the spear standing in front of a shield.   When new recruits into the Dercian legions are sworn in, they do it to a replica of the spear, invoking Mara's blessing to fight with honour.

I love the power of the spear to make even enemies lay down weapons in its presence. I also really like that there is only one story how she got the spear. Makes that one ring all the more true.

Thank you :) Agree, with only one story it also helps keeping it a bit mysterious :)

I really like the two sides of the spear and Mara, a tool that can be used in multiple ways depending on the situation. Solid bit of writing, keep it up :)
