Firebombs

The firebombs that can be made from the material known as Dragons Fire are some of the deadliest bombs that exist as once they have exploded in a huge fireball, the content in them will spray out over the targeted area and continue to burn. It's near impossible to put out as Dragons fire can burn on water.
While it's the Dercian Legions that are the biggest customers of the Firebombs, the Dercian navy also buys a significant amount that they use against pirates alongside their ship-born flamethrowers that can spay Dragons Fire out to a distance of 50 meters, a favoured tactic for the navy is to have some sailors up in the top of the masts throwing firebombs down onto the deck of the enemy ship, typically resulting in the enemy ship retreating to put the fire out hopefully. When they don't manage, the Dercian ship will be right there to pick up the crew that have abandoned their burning ship and jumped into the sea.
When not delivered to the enemy ship by dropping from the masts, the typical way is to put the grenade into a slingshot which significantly increases the distance the grenade can be delivered to the enemy.
The infantry also uses the same way, although they sometimes also just use their hands to throw the grenade towards the enemy when they are within distance; this will typically break up the enemy charge in its tracks allowing the Dercian infantry to advance and often routing the enemy right there and then.

Rarity

The Firebombs are fairly common in the Dercian legions with the legions being equipped with one or two firebombs before they are to engage the enemy during a pitched battle, or defending against a siege.

Weight

Siege Firebombs can way up to 2 kilos with the infantry variant coming in around 100 gram.
