Qala (Ka-la)
Goddess of Light Qala
The goddess of light and lust. While she is the being that is know for bringing light into the world, she is known for only really caring about herself and going to extreme lengths to get what she wants. She wanted Xulotl for herself and forced Edes to make that happen by threatening to kill her unborn child Ruslyn, who was raised far away from Qala as a safety measure. As of now, she is dealing with the fact that most of the gods in the Azure Realm see her for who she truly is.
Artifacts
The hood of Qala is an artifact attributed her. It was created by Querin, the deity of creation, for her. She bestowed it upon the first Archbishop and it has been passed down ever since.
Relationships
History
This was a forced coupling that Xulotl wanted no part of. Qala wanted Xulotl even though he cared for her only platonically, so she forced Edes, the goddess of love, to "persuade" him into loving her. For centuries they loved each other while Xulotl was still under Edes' spell. They had multiple children that they both loved dearly, but their final child, Selvisi, the god of chaos and a product of Qala's dishonesty and lustful tactics, broke Edes' spell and cause Xulotl to see what had happened those past few years with Qala. This causes Xulotl to despise Qala and to hide away within the farthest reaches of the Azure Realm after Selvisi was dealt with.
