The Moon Rabbit is described as having white fur that forms flame-like tufts at its joints, cheeks and tail. The tufts fade into a dark gray, reminiscent of ink dissolving in water.
A pair of black deer antlers curves back between its ears, and reptilian scales cover its neck, shoulders and thighs. Some of those scales are golden, as are the claws on its feet. Numerous decorative golden lines run across its body.
