Mysterious Ant Farm

An intricate multi-level ant farm complete with multiple habitats, glass viewing plates, and an automated system to feed the ants at various intervals. The ants are of an exotic, possibly magical breed and seem to be building something that definitely isn’t part of the farm.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The ants work diligently day and night all the while crafting a portal to an alternate dimension. It is not known by the denizens of Minelara where the portal leads, whether it opens a gate to the abyss, to a strange mirror universe, or simply to the corner store. At times, it seems as if the ants are called by an otherworldly force, but then again, they're just ants...

History

During the Battle of Wolfwater, a splash of acid on Typhon's bag of holding resulted in the bag's destruction, causing the contents of the bag - including the ant farm - to be scattered across the planes.
