Sir Ebin Nicholys Kotsk

Sir Ebin Nicholys Kotsk was an explorer and cartographer. He was famed for his expeditions charting the coastlines of Eqeth and Oduth between 470 and 496, the year of his death. Over a period of 26 years, Sir Kotsk visited most of Emeth and charted the majority of the coastlines of Eqeth and Oduth. Near the end of his life, he dictated an account of his journeys, titled The Strange Sights of the World.

Personal history

Sir Ebyn Kotsk was born in the merchant port city-state of Drasoka sometime in early or mid-417 TAF. His father was a fur merchant, having made his fortune with mink and beaver skins from the north. His mother was the third and youngest daughter of a minor noble from Swancrest. Little else is known about his early life, but his contemporaries often remarked how he enjoyed spending his days talking to the sailors and the traders coming into the port and asking about their travels and where they came from.
