Askalon
The V'strimon Capital City of Askalon lies at the bottom of Lake Ban, impossible to reach for most travellers due to the treacherous waters and dangerous beasts roaming the depths. Unless taken there by an experienced guide, finding the entrance is a hardship only few can overcome. Despite most inhabitants being able to breath under water, the City itself is surrounded by a magical barrier that keeps most of the water away (other than a few controlled inlets, used mostly for easily accessible drinking water) as the builders of the city were of the opinion that living too long in an aquatic environment might render them unable to set foot on land, once the Convergence came to and end.
