Tranquil Heights

Bordered on the east by the Hrazdan River, the north by the Emir's Aqueduct, the south by the Trade Aqueduct and extending to the west to the wall of Fayah, the Tranquil heights is home to the most wealthy families in Fayah. The Heights, so named because of large hill to the west, where the Emir's appartments and surrounding gardens sit, is the second highest point in Fayah (after the spires in Low Town). Heading southwest along the Emir's Crossing, which leads from the walls of Emir's appartments and the Grand Temple of Nuk to the Hrazdan to the Royal Vineyards in the Greenway, homes and estates become increasingly grand, with large courtyards, water features, and lush roof top gardens. Smaller mansions, packed more closely together, are found north of the Royal Road and interspersed with small specialty shops such as jewlry stores, import/export businesses (though their warehouses are more likely to be found in the Smiths' Lanterns), perfumeries and incense makers.

Emirs Apparments: Encompassing both the grand apartments of the Emir and it's surrounding gardens, this building was fashioned of brilliant white Gleamstone salvaged from the original.walls of Fayah. As such it stands as a tangible display of Mabahan military might and testament to its architectural and artistic tastes.    Grand Temple of Nuk: Just inside the curtain wall separating the Emirs grounds from the rest of the heights stands the Grand Temple of Nuk. This is the seat of worship in Fayah and it's surrounds, and is home to the highest ranking priests in the surrounding region.    The Arcades: area of manicured lawn and low lying topiary and mazes, none of which reach above shoulder height. The Arcades lie just outside the curtain wall and serve as a pleasure garden for the cities elite. Small food vendors wander the Arcade pushing small carts, quietly hawking local delicacies.   Knockdon's Plaza:   The Pools   East Rills (Eastr)   West Rills (Westr)
