Blackwood Bog

Blackwood Bog stands in the mid-southern area of Midterra as a natural barrier between the Plains of Orann and the Sonor Desert. Legend says many things are lost and found in these swampy backwaters. Most that venture in are seldom heard from again, whether bested by the elements or something else. How the Beast Folk thrive here and call it home is a little known secret to themselves it would seem. However, those that do return from their exploits usually describe it as a muddy, stinky nuisance if it weren't for the exotic animals and materials that are found there.
