Sacrifice of Aperseventh

Life, Death

217AA
17/1

Aperseventh, later dubbed as Perseverance and revered as goddess of Life and Death, sacrificed her life to save her daughter from the cruel king Krakath and unknowingly set the stage for second rebellion against the rulership of Sun Dragons.

The long rule of king Krakath left many persecuted, families ruined and tales of his mad sadistic desires made everyone fearful of him, especially female dragons. It was during this time that the tradition of only male dragons serving in the Clawstopper army of Sun Dragons was established.   Aperseventh was an old mother that raised her children with love and care. That was until one day, Krakath fancied one of her daughters for himself and sent his courier to her, demanding she let her daughter join his court. Horrified, and hopeless, Aperseventh accompanied her daughter and faced the tyrant king.   Nobody expect the frail and old dragoness to lash out with such speed and strength and the king's throat. In moments, the Tyrant king was dead, yet Aperseventh herself was killed by the king's royal Clastopper force right in front of her daughter's eyes. Her sacrifice lead to the second revolt against the rulership of Sun Dragons and she was later proclaimed as saint, even revered as goddess of Perseverance
