Rune Spire Tower

Rune Spire Tower was built by Muninn Styrmir for those wishing to learn about magic and the Runes that the Norse people use. It is one of the few places that outworlders are allowed to go to via teleportation spells. It is about 180 feet tall and twice that in depth. All magic that is allowed to be learned is taught in here. Every floor has a type of magic that is taught. So much traffic comes to the Tower that they had to expand downward into the Dwarven zones. There about 20 floors. Some are for just sparring. This tower is actually is next to the One-eyed Laboratories

Purpose / Function

The world of magic is always expanding. With the Gods return so did magic. No longer are they just rituals and chants to communicate with the dead. 190 years with magic is very short time for the humans. Some are still learning. What better way to learn than a place built exclusively for that.

Alterations

It has been extended downward into the Under cities zone. (Dwarves will allow almost anything if you pay them) Other than this the rooms change constantly to suit the needs of the students. No floor stays the same with the exception of the top floor and the bottom floor.

Architecture

The tower is using stone that the dwarves removed out of the tunnels they have built. Expanding only half way up the Ark trees with the roof being made entirely out of glass for people to look at the stars while they wait to teleport home. The glass can open to help ventilate the tower of toxins in emergency.

History

With the building only being active for ten years, not much has happened in this building. Besides the few explosions that cause giant holes to appear in the walls.
