This timeline depicts the history of the Midgard Realms from the beginning of modern society. Note that it also includes a fair bit of meta knowledge.
This era serves as an "umbrella" for anything that happened in Midgard before the arrival of Tolkien.
The people of west Germania established their first kingdom.
The people of west Romania established their first kingdom.
The people of south Romania establish their first kingdom.
Germanic explorers decide to travel north and make the Northern Isles their new home.
The First Age began when Tolkien arrived to Germania.
Godric O'Riley Tolkien and his kin arrived to Germania and started colonizing the north-east.
The dwarves began construction of their first city, in the north-east corner of Germania. This construction would officially conclude in the year 295.
Having claimed a large part of east Germania, the dwarves officially established an empire, the Tolkien Empire, led by emperor Godric O'Riley Tolkien (or "Tolkien the 1st").
After witnessing the dwarfs developing views towards racial supremacy, the elves abandoned the empire and established the realm of Valënor.
As Tolkien conquered more land from the Germanian natives, he integrated all of them as regular citizens, but those of cobalian blood were enslaved due to their "undesirable appearance".
Godric O'Riley Tolkien passed away from old age and his son, Garadrin Tolkien, became the new emperor.
While digging in the Kayum Mines the dwarves dug through the top layer of the earth, revealing the Underdark. They quickly discovered that it was very rich in minerals and other harvestable materials, so they began expanding down, mining and harvesting.
A mining outpost of the Tolkien Empire was attacked and destroyed by the dunmer, revealing themselves to them.
Due to the dwarfs' desire for Underdark materials, a war broke out between them and the dunmer.
Garadrin Tolkien II was assassinated by a dunmer assassin. Grim Tolkien III took the throne.
The Dunmer charge on their Deep Rothé mounts from their base in the Underdark and mow down the Telkan troops. They make their escape by sea and sail east to Yaxiya.
The Dunmer from Germania sailed far east to the realm of Yaxiya, which they made their new home.
The Dunmer send a fleet to Yaxiya, attempting to take the land for themselves. They were met with with a storm so great that it drowned their entire fleet.
Karan forces overwhelm the Inferno Imperium. In their defeat it was as if a curse had been lifted, for all the tieflings suddenly "woke up".
A gigantic library, filled with anomalies, ancient knowledge and endless secrets was discovered under the city of Roma.
The Second Age began when T'salak appeared in Midgard.
The Dark Lord T'salak, appeared in Midgard.
The Dark Lord T'salak recruited the chancellor of Valënor, Verezirith Dalin, as his second-in-command and claimed Valënor as his own domain.
The Dark Lord T'salak recruited Thrym the Giant as his servant.
The Dark Lord T'salak recruited Hythonia, the queen of snakes, as his servant.
During The Great War for Midgard, an abundance of giants and dragons appeared in Midgard and began their own war, trampling anything in their way. T'salak's forces in particular were heavily damaged by this which ended with their retreat to Valënor.
The eight most powerful mages of Midgard formed a covenant with the goal of protecting it against any cosmic evils and international threats, such as T'salak.
The Dark Lord T'salak and his allies are finally imprisoned by the Wizard Saints.
The Third Age began once the horrors of The Second Age had formally come to an end. An age of peace (more or less).
Due to the Tolkien Empire being in ruins after the Second Age, the people of Germania took the chance to revolt against the empire and establish their own state.
Emperor Carolus Tolkien XIV waged a holy war against any realm that defied the newly discovered "Allfather"; the king of all gods. During the crusades, the Telkans crucified non-believers, burned precious libraries and showed no mercy.
The Republic of Germania defeats the remaining Germanic forces and integrate their kingdom into the republic.
The dragon Nireduvaar ate the king of Romeria and took his throne, leaving the Romerian populous much safer and happier.
A hoard of undead and mysterious mages attacked the Roma Arcane Institute.
After taking a dive in a river near Alabaster Forest, Bjorn discovered an ancient artifact.
