Day 15

Session 6
After saving a dinosaur jockey from a severe beating, the party split up to follow some leads. Percy visits Captain Lascallar, the previous captain of the Stirge, in jail to ask him some questions about the monster that stole his beard, while Temor leaves messages for his master Feran around the marketplace, hoping that they will be found. In the evening, the party are summoned to prince Wakanga's residence to aid in a matter of arcane urgency, which quickly turns dire.   Session MVP: Percy

Day 15  

• The thugs in the alley are kicking the guy because he stopped making repayments, man took a loan out to buy a dinosaur to compete in dinosaur races but he sucks and couldn't earn enough to pay the loan back, solana decides to pay the man's debt (60gp), the thugs leave with her gold
• Mans name is Unkla, he offers us his dinosaur to use in the racing if we want, will meet us at the dinosaur races, dinosaur is named banana candy (shite name - leviathan would have been so much cooler) race begins at the harbour ward on day 17
• Party decides that percy will ride the dinosaur in the race tomorrow
• They head back to K'lahu's to collect their rewards (50gp), they split the reward evenly,
• Percy asks around to try and find the prince of guides but it seems like people only rarely get to meet the princes in person, so he asks where he can find the prince's business, he goes to the guides headquarters, he asks if they have heard of rumours of a bearded sea hag, receptionist has heard of a rumour – report of a kidnapping, seen once with pirates (doesn’t say which crew), receptionist tells percy he might be able to hire a ship 100gp per day, percy asks the man to start rumours that percy might be looking to put together a crew to sail to jahaka bay. (at some point in here percy is gifted knowledge from Arameg that Aunti Arial has taken up residence somewhere within the bay and that she repeatedly slips past his gaze).
• Percy, and baelin head to the harbour district to try and find captain baldrige, they find him and persuade him to come to visit captain lascallar in prison,
• Meanwhile solana and dr skully do some shopping in the marketplace, while there temor leaves a message for his master Feran in the form of magically enchanted fliers that speak the message when handled, created by scully
• Percy goes to talk to captain lascallar, lascallar was in league with auntie arial, sounds like the three remaining pirate crews are as well, perhaps if Percy can put together a crew to hunt them down he can get more info, percy and baelin go back to the almarage
• At the almarage, a man approaches the table and delivers summons the party to prince wakanga's residence, they head to the merchants ward, wants arcane insight as to what is happening, miguel is very sick, skin cracked, flaking off in patches, laboured breathed, as the party are investigating the possible causes, a pretty dark skinned women, jesamine, walks in, merchant prince of murder
• Jesamine asks wakanga for help, past few days she has been feeling terrible, nothing to be done, wakanga asks jesamine as a friend of death does she feel like it could be related, she admits to feeling like her soul is trying to escape again, jesamine has died and been resurrected before, volo reveals that Miguel has also been resurrected before, seems like something has been done to tear ressurected souls away from their vessels, Miguel fucking dies, Macawley sees his soul travel out of his body, it doesn’t go up, it goes south.
• Volo is ugly crying
• The party open their map, prince wakanga points to a point on the map, heart of uptao, a floating rock formation that 'cries blood', direction that the soul flew in
• The party begin to plan their journey, merchant prince wakanga gives the party the password to teleport to his teleportation circle which should allow them to circumvent the flaming fist tax, he agrees to take 25% instead of 50
• Temor asks about Feran, apparently he robbed prince wakanga, feran stole a serpent statue (cobra with a hood, black base, coiled cobra pose) – magical, he got it from old yuan-ti city, Hisari, wakanga didn’t witness the killing but he saw feran himself, Wakanga shows the party the exact spot in his treasure vault that the statue was taken from, vault is filled to the brim with gold, jewels and magical items
• Yuan-ti once had a grand city but after the fall of chult they were banned from the city,
• The fall refers to the disappearance of the city of Mezro, the story goes that a champion of ubtao, Raznsi, betrayed the other champions and killed them all, he then created an army of undead, presumably to march on Mezro and take it for his own but never got the chance, Ubtao made the city disappear and vanished along with it.
