Days 26-29

Session 11
Days pass in the jungles of Chult as the Fellowship of the Egg continues their journey towards Camp Righteous. Flaming fist mercenaries, the riddle of Uptao's path and zombie dinosaurs all make appearances along the way. Session MVP: Solana

Day 26

• Fellowship continue their journey towards camp righteous in the morning, several hours pass before the party hear shambling guttural moaning ahead of them, they try to pass by stealthily but the zombies notice the clanging from Solana's armour so the party have to run at a sprint into the jungle
• After they escape, the party heard the sounds of voices coming towards them, they choose to hide in the bushes at the side of the clearing they are in, the voices belong to a group of 12 flaming fist members who immediately spot the party trying to hide, they are on an expedition to hunt the undead, they are heading west and convince the party to travel with them for a while, they spend the rest of the day and the evening with the mercenaries
• Solana asks if they have seen any of the yuan-ti, he has spotted them but they haven't attacked
• Temor asks if they know who Feran is, they dont recognise the poster,
• Percy asks if the undead have a source, locals says its raznesee, captain doesn't seem to believe it is him specifically but isnt sure,
• They mention a group of aarakockra in a 'sky city out eastways', Sabable?, feral tabaxi can be found in the mountains,

• The flaming fist take off in their own direction in the morning
• Later in the day they spot a large stone tower, stone tower looks like a giant face, azaka points out that it is a shrine to uptao, on the floor around the base of the tower are three small corpses, one a goblin with a gem encrusted mask on, other is a Su-monster, last corpse is a strange plant creature - vegepygmy, all three bear deliberate sacrificial wounds
• Percy asks about the mask, azaka identifies it as Bitiri goblin tribe mask, Bitiri are savages,
• Percy finds a symbol of Uptao on the shrine and he has a go at solving the labyrinth puzzle on the symbol, as he finishes tracing the symbol, a compartment opened up at the back of the shrine, inside is a vial of wyvern poison,
• Percy decides to leave an egg riddle in the compartment for the next people to find it, A container without hinges, lock or a key, yet a golden treasure lies inside me. What am I?
• The party investigates the corpses to see if they can find a lead on the killer, they get super distracted and forget all about it, scully takes a cutting from the vegepygmy and then pile the bodies up and set them on fire, they then set off again
• Later on the party hear the sounds of branches breaking and leaves ripping, scully and azaka sneak forward, they spot a herd of hadrosaurus with some young with them, the party move past without bothering them at akazas recommendation
• Party arrive at a valley, they heard oud noises from up ahead them, an undead gorallon is fighting an ogre zombie, as the party get close the two zombies notice them and charge towards them, the party deal with the zombies and start to make camp for the evening
• Solana tries to climb some trees to hunt birds but they fly away, she sets a trap instead, baelin manages to scrounge some tubers and berries from the jungle nearby to add to tonight's dinner,

• Scully crafts percy a beard out of jungle plants and strands of his own hair, the party then set off for today's travel,
• While travelling the party hear some thudding coming from ahead, the noise is an ankylosaurus zombie, the party decide to go around the lumbering creature,
• The party continue onwards until baelin notices that the ground underfoot is hollow, he then falls into a pit, the pit is a stone room 20ftx20ftx20ft, in one corner is a large pile of gold and gems as well as a potion of gaseous form and a pair of sending stones, they spend the night in the pit and get a good night's rest

• Scully leaves the stone pit in the morning to find azaka returning to camp with a couple rabbits, they have a hearty breakfast and then set off to continue their journey,
