Day 66  

• The Fellowship continues to fight the Hags, Acererak arrives and immediately decides to kill Harwin using Power Word Kill
• Solana kills one of the hags in retribution, Percy casts a high level shatter on the soul machine and its struts in an attempt to weaken then further after Harwin damaged them, Ana animates one of the struts and commands it to rip itself free which causes the soul machine to sink into the lava and release the trapped souls
• Acererak is mad so he kills Solana in the same manner as Harwin
• Percy, Ana and Temor are all that stand against Acererak and they do their best to weaken the ancient lich, Ana pulls of a mischievous decpetion and distracts Acererak long enough to summon a spiritual solana to attack him, Acererak is super mad that he fell for ana's lies and casts a paralysing spell as she is flying over the lava pit, she dies after being immolated
• Temor and percy cast their most powerful spells at Acererak but discover that he is immune to psychic damage and anything that affects his mind, percy changes tactics and tries to capture acererak in a watery sphere, acererak is slippery and doesnt let himself be caught, meanwhile Temor blasts him with fireballs
• Temor uses his cloak to get him to the astral plane so he can heal himself while percy decides to challenege acererak to a classic 1v1 duel, both remaining participants teleport to a nearby balcony and begin to fight, Percy polymorphs himself into the Burly-Rex, but Acererak used the maze spell to banish him temporarily
• Temor reappeared healed up and ready to continue but Acererak was ready and swamped him with a barrage of powerful magical spells, Temor died in a storm of ice
• Acererak made his preparations then brought percy back right in the middle of a cloudkill, the B-Rex managed to hold on long enough to leapt from one balcony to another and catch Acererak between his jaws, the B-Rex then dropped acererak into the lava, the lich didnt die but was badly wounded and was running out of resources
• Acererak decided to allow percy to live for the time being and teleported away, leaving the blue bard alone in the tomb's lowest chamber, Percy was distraught after losing his companions and not being able to defeat acererak, but he agthered his resolve and swore to start an initiative which would hunt for the lich and oppose his machinations on the material plane
• He gathered the corpses of his comrades and took back his sword from Solana, he also undid her breatplate and took it with him to remember her by, he then said a prayed to Umberlee to shepherd their souls back to their proper afterlife and then cast their bodies into the lava
• Percy left through the misty portal that Ana found earlier, He found a corridor with 4 doors in the walls, three of the doors has a path leading to it - one red, one yellow and one purple, a fourth door had no path but there was a skeleton pointing to it, after consulting Macawley percy decided to choose the door with no path and found a well, in the water of the well he saw the obelisk outside the tomb, he stepped through and foundhimself at the entrance to the tomb, back in Omu
• Meanwhile the four party members who had died found themselves in a misty planescape, each of them met a dark skinned msucular tabaxi who offered them a choice of two paths, one back to the material plane and one into the afterlife, all four of them chose to return and reunited with percy outside the tomb, they all swore to continue their fight against acererak as the Fellowship of the Egg
