Day 44

• The party fight against the trex that charged toward them and kill it very quickly,
• That evening a vision comes to the party, familiar room and cauldron, shapes of hags bend over the cauldron, we appear to be inside a tube filled with liquid but can breathe normally, to the left is a small cage with baelin inside, unconscious beaten but alive, the hag speaks: yes a predator of pure metal, a beat unable to rest, yes it shall make quick work of their brittle bodies, that takes care of the egg, what of the yellow flag? leave them to the snakes, yes they must redeem themselves or we shall tell master of their ineptitude, non shall interfere with the feasting of the infant, master will have his divine reward, huge door lies beyond then, huge swirling black mass, the mass approaches, an eye peers at us in the tube and we wake up,

• The party set off after talking about the nightmare that they all shared,
• They catch a scent of roses that azaka notes doesn't grow in this area, a man and lizardfolk approach, man has two swords and the small lizard has a large sword, man is named artus and the lizardfolk is named dragonbait, they are heading to Mbala seeking knowledge, they are looking for the lost city of Mezro, seems like artus has angered frost giants,
• Artus has a magical dagger, he said it was given to him by a tribe of centaurs in exchange for returning their cheiftains sacred staff,
• Artus has some magic
• The party rest when they reach Mbala

• The party begin the climb up the switchback towards Mbala, after two hours we are very high up the cliff face, they come to a narrow section and manage to navigate across it
• The party are attacked by Pterafolk but deal with them pretty quickly,
• They continue onwards until they reach the top of Mbala, they enter the library, statue in the foyer, lute in one hand and orb in the other, seemingly masculine but with long flowing hair,
• Scully finds bedrooms through doors in the foyer, not used but fresh sheets, perhaps it isnt as abandoned as it seems
• Percy looks at the statue, seems jovial, doesnt recognize it
• At that time, someone approaches, elderly man with chiseled features but deep set wrinkles, gleaming plate armour bearing a holy symbol, he welcomes the party, warns us he is the protector of the library, the mans name is Fandril,
• the statue is of Oghma a god of knowledge,
• Current floor has meagre knowledge, lower floors have more knowledge but a dangerous devil is there
• The librarian wants the party to kill the devil as he cant because the devil hasnt broken any rules yet, the party decide to help but are warned not to damage any books in doing so
• They go down to the lower level trying to sneak up on the devil, solana comes face to face with it while the party are searching and the battle begins,
