Days 30-33

Session 14
The Fellowship of the egg finally discover what happened to the survivors following the devastation of camp righteous. However, even among the survivors, they are not safe as a great evil draws near.

Day 30

• Percival confronts Macawley about the bird's behaviour in front of the faerie dragon Oscill, Macawley eventually explains that he himself is the victim of a fae curse but cant tell percy what it is, percy vows to help Macawley to break his curse

• As they are packing up camp Temor hears a tree branch crack but they think nothing of it, scully swaps out her infiltrator armour for heavier defender armour
• The party set off travelling and talk about their relative heights, they spot a humanoid figure that looks like a cat, the figure moves behind a tree, nothing else happens
• Later in the day, the party hear a pair of allosaurus up ahead, the party try to hide but the allosaurus find them too quickly, the party are joined by two tabaxi hunters who help them to take down the allosaurus, the tabaxi stay hidden, the party decide to leave them a cut of meat and leave,
• the evening passes without issue

• During the days travel azaka spots a rotting tree trunk covered in rotting mushrooms called Zaubao, it releases spores when it bursts,
• Undrul is not dealing with the events of camp righteous very well so percy takes some time to try and talk to her to distract her from thinking about it,
• A short time later, the party encounter a fast moving blue mist that is about to overtake them, percy uses a gust of wind to keep the mist away from the party long enough for them to escape, the mist is mad monkey mist, can make people insane for hours or days,
• After outrunning the mist, azaka spots canoes, on the opposite bank there is a camp surrounded by a wooden palisade wall, percy calls up to the guards that they are friends, the camp soldiers look haggard, officer in charge is called sergeant firebrand, leader of the camp man in expensive looking summer clothes, Commander Breakbone,
• Percy strikes a deal with sergeant firebrand, he offers to entertain the men with songs and stories to try and lift the moral and in exchange he is to provide the party with a place to stay and decent food, sgt firebrand agrees
• Azaka insists on spending the night outside of the camp to 'enjoy the full moon', percy is suspicious but says nothing.
• Percy has temor and baelin help him with his performance and together, they manage to shift the moral in the camp to a positive state
• The party spend the rest of the night vibing with the soldiers and eventually earn a decent night's sleep

• The party awaken well rested in the new camp righteous, scully goes to the camp clerics to heal her wounded eye, they heal her up,
• Azaka returns from her night out in the jungle,
• The party set out to find the missing members of the order, they come across a camp full of bodies wearing the uniform of the order, scully's xray vision finds tracks that dont belong to a zombie
• The party continue onwards until azaka looses the trail, they try to find the trail again but cant find it, they head back to camp to report what they have found to commander Breakbone, he is disappointed,
• In the dead of night an alarm bell rings out, long drawn out warhorn from outside the southern wall, there are a force of undead, 8 zombies, 2 ogre zombies, and one man, stripped of flesh bones carved with runes, has a glowing sword and the horn, the man is recognised as the lieutenant, lieutenant points at wall, rune stops glowing and fire bursts from the end of his sword and part of the wall gets blown up and a hole appears
