Unicode Symbols
There are a lot of unicode characters and symbols available. But using them depends on what kind of platform you use. For something like World Anvil, you do have the option to paste these directly into most text boxes as they are. If you are programming in HTML and have to use a code, that's a different issue. The drawback to World Anvil (at the moment) is that there is no handy-dandy way to plop your unicode symbol into the text box from a menu. And given that the shear number of symbols out there, trying to do so might be prohibitive.
The following is one way to try to find some of those symbols and keep them handy to copy-paste them into your articles. I've discovered a few tips and tricks to help you format your text in a way that neither breaks Dimitris' anvil or gets sliced-and-diced by BBCODE and still allows you to do a bit more. In the cases where I did discover that the symbol breaks the WA block, for some unknown reason, I've provided a link to the unicode table. As far as I know, the symbol in normal WABBcode in articles seems to work alright.
