Spooktober 2023 - Apparition

If she says once more that we aren't lost and keeps refusing my help, I will absolutely leave. I've been thinking that for the past 5, 10 minutes? I am glad to not have left her yet I wish I had left. This man appeared out of nowhere in front of us. No... This is not a man, this is not a kin, this is a monster. I should protect her from the monster. As a Kin, she has low oportunities to survive an encounted with a monster; yet I know what she's capable of and I have a feeling she'll survive it and laugh on his tomb. I keep seeing movement on the corner of my eyes and when I look there, new walls of vegetation have appeared. This man is making a maze. She is talking calmly with the monster even after seeing the maze appearing, surrounding us.
