Josephine's Tomb

The resting place of Josephine Slande the infamous swashbuckler who created the Pirate Code and lead a fleet up against a dragon.   It is a place of ceremony to the great deeds and exploits of his. As well as where his treasures are kept.  During times of conflict it also acts as a council room that frequently features Josephine returning from death to assist.

Purpose / Function

Built originally as a way for Josephine Slande to look over the surrounding seas to spot invaders. It retained its use after death as a council for discussing the Pirate Code bu resurrecting him for his input. As well as during a Slande's Liberation where an individual gains the rank of Corsair Liberator to counter a crisis.

Alterations

It was adjusted after [Josephine's death to function as his tomb. This tomb was designed to respectfully conceal his body for the natural environment while still allowing an ease of resurrection without touching his body.

Architecture

Carved out of the tail of a dragon resting at the peek of a mountain it has built in windows of small metal netting that can open up as a lookout position. The flooring and windows are covered in a dark stone to secure it and offer a comfortable surface.

Defenses

The bones of the dragon withstand extreme pressure, with it being highly elevated.  The stairs curl around the tail making it a slow and hard place to climb.

History

Founded during the War of the Flying Baron, during the event of the Reptiles Landing when the swashbucklers of the seas had to unite under Josephine Slande. They his inside the dragon for ages eventually seeing an opportunity they founded the settlement of Dragons Bay.

Tourism

Little tourism makes its way to Josephine's resting place, but those that do emerge are either coming to ask guidance from him personally or those wishing to give an item to Josephine as an offering as they hope for good luck in an exhibition.
