Lunarist
A Lunarist is a specialized researcher who studies the moons, also called "realms" that orbit Meridia and their magical effect on the world. Each individual tends to choose their own specialization, such as spell creation, ley line study, lunar observation, celestial studies, and more.

Lunarists require a significant understanding of magic and a scientific mindset and must complete a certification in order to carry out research.
Payment & Reimbursement
Payment is made in the form of a stipend from The Magocracy of Evrand based on merit and results of experiments and the likelihood of useful data from future experiments.

Lunarists study the effects and influence zones of lunar magic and the moons themselves.
Demographics
Very few spellcasters who are skilled enough to become Lunarists choose to do so, this leads to a very small community of experienced lunar researchers.
