Meridean Trade Language
The Meridean Trade Language (MTL) or Meridean Common language is a popular trade language and is a common lingua franca and trade language in the nations near the Meridean Sea. It is the product of a combination of the Dekaelic language and various Hebetic tongues.
The language is most prevalent in ports and other trade hubs, having been spread by merchants and other travelers through the past centuries.
Pirate nations in the region are widely considered the first cultures to have adopted Meridean Common as their primary language.
