The Once-Forsaken Pantheon

In a time before written history, the Forsaken Gods were hailed as the protectors and saviors of Mercuria. Following a terrible incident that has long since been forgotten, civilization ceased to worship them, their names being passed on in only whispered conversation from generation to generation. Some time after the Imperitan Empire came into being, the peoples of Mercuria found themselves in want of the divine powers they once had, and the whispers that had been passed down rose to a shout. The Forsaken became the Forgiven, and have come to be worshiped once more within Eburlona.
