Kingdom on the Brink - session 1
General Summary
16th Day of Terseg
The party arrives in Hillfar and Speaks with Bernard Ursel Who asks the party to deal orc and goblin raiders on the outlying villages, after receiving the details they head a few hours north. Once in the outlying village the party split and one group went looking for tracks, another talked to some villagers, and the third group went to talk to the village representative. After finding more about the goblin raid on the 14th day of Terseg the group heads out west, they find 3 goblins and 3 Worgs which they manage to surprise. Artimus goes down after Jims magic missile botches on him, and the group (after a tense chase) manages to capture a Goblin. A short rest takes place and Hendred attempts to learn more about her companions, Cradeth and Talia forage for food, and Artimus studies his spell book and sends his familiar to scout. The familiar reports movement further to the west and the party sets out, they find the camp and attempt a ambush but Artimus and Hendred are detected. After dealing with the Goblins the party loots the camp and finds a scroll in orcish and goblin, the party knows the general location of 3 other raiding groups and a location where they were told to take prisoners. One of the letters in orcish also said that the writer "wanted Bernards head". The party then started a long rest and Talia noticed movement on her watch and woke the party up, they setup an ambush and slew 3 more goblins and worgs.Rewards Granted
