Bernard Ursel is the Regional mayor of the town of Hillfar and a knight of Bralor .

Personal history
In the year 2489 Bernard ended his his training and became a squire in the Knights of Aramore. In 2491 the Kingdom of Bralor offered assistance to the Republic of Edra in dealing with incursions from the Wildlands, the Knights of Aramore were one of the groups sent. After spending 2 years campaigning in Edra Bernard distinguished himself and achieved knighthood, one of the youngest knights in the history of Bralor. After the Edran campaign Bernard returned to Aramore , where he was given increasingly more responsibility. He was assigned to command the 3rd lance, 5th Helm of the knights of Aramore (Lance is a group of 25 knights, a Helm is a group of 100 knights). After several years as a Lancer he was was given command of the 7th Helm, distinguishing himself as a skilled tactician, leading several anti-piracy campaigns in the Torrential Sea. In 2498 AGF Bernard was assigned to be a liaison between the Knighthood and the Arbitor's Chamber, Trying to keep good law and order in Aramore proved to be stressing the resources of the local law enforcement. At the end of 2500 AGF Bernard unraveled a conspiracy attempting to exert influence on the provincial council (event would later be known as The Dark Festival), the timing of this conspiracy couldn't have been worse due to the events that soon followed.
In 2501 an orcish warlord lead a horde into Bralor (Known as The Bloody year), overrunning the cities of Stathmor and Lakeshore , Bernard lead a contingent of knights and the local militia in defense of the province. Utilizing skirmish tactics and destroying the local infrastructure and crops, Bernard was able to force a confrontation at the hastily fortified city of Hillfar. The battle was fierce, but with orcs low on supplies and demoralized from the hit and run attacks, Bernard was able to lead a charge that finally broke the hordes resolve. With the incursion dealt with Bernard was seen as a local hero by the people and was made the Regional mayor of Hillfar by the ruling council in Aramore.
