In the very hard of creation, there was a word, and in each of the living creatures, there is a word in their soul, a name, the true name that defines that creature. And some creatures are born close to that truth, so close that this truth comes out as a great power to bend the world around them. Someone naturally gifted in this way is called a Runechild.
