Personality

Thorys is a cold and calculating man, not caring for many outside of his family. He avoids vices and even now in luxury keeps a almost military lifestyle. Filled with spite he blames many for the downfall of Braavos and plans for revenge against all of them. His wrath and just for vengeance only really being tempered by his wife.

History

Thorys's birth year is uncertain as it was never bothered to be remembered by the slavers that took him from the Summer Islands as a child. Growing up a slave, Thorys grew cold and spiteful, naturally distrustful of all those around him. Sometime in his early teens a Braavosi merchant had purchased and freed him. In exchange for his freedom he acted as the merchants personal body guard for years. Eventually Thorys moved on and worked as a sellsword for Braavos, Eventually earning enough money to hire a tutor for himself. This is where he learned of Daenerys and her persecution of Slavers. Having a quiet respect for the queen he hoped to someday finish what she stated and see all slavers crucified and killed. Several years later he acted as a General of Braavos and lead the refugees to Lorath where he plotted his revenge on those that had destroyed his home. On his return to Braavos, he aided much with the rebuilding of the city and with the help of a small upstart Cult worshiping the Titan, he launched his coup against the newly elected Sealord. Quickly seizing power he crowned himself Emperor of New Braavos.
