During the late 2050s mankind sought to colonize the moon it was during this time than some people started to develop psionic abilities. No one in the modern era knows what caused this phenomenon some suspect exposure to space radiation and others blame secret genetic engineering programs.

MiscellaneousOn April 7th 2073 a arcea was captured alive and shipped to earth. It was from this specimen that arcea cores were discovered. Extremely dense and filled with psionic energy it was the fuel source needed to colonize the solar system.

Kaiju Breeding Iniative
Scientific achievementBeing that arcea were no more dangerous than herd of bison to a well equipped military, it wasn't long before mankind started domesticating the creatures. The ancient nation known as Japan was the first to start their breeding program but India and Canada weren’t far behind. Over the next few decades thousands of arcea were bred to fuel the space race. For unknown reasons arcea breeding programs failed outside of Earth and Luna causing the outer planets to be dependent on their ancestral homeland.

Fall of Vancouver
Disaster / DestructionThe first titan arcea appeared. Though impossible to verify many scholars believe this to be the arcea we now refer to as Chemosh. Not much is known about his attack other than that Vancouver was obliterated before the creature disappeared back into the sea. Historical records indicate the military made a valiant attempt to hold him off and that a modern Goliath mecha would have been able to subdue it.

Establishment of the Mecha Program
Military actionThe mecha program is established to try and combat the rising arcea problem. Records are sparse from this point on and it’s unclear if all four Ancients had appeared by this point or not. What is clear is that though the rudimentary mecha of the erea were capable of destroying Titans it was never able to subdue Chemosh or the other three.

Era beginning/endDuring this era most of the inner planets had been colonized and project Jupiter had begun. An ambitious project to turn Jupiter into a star by directing a black hole into it.

The fall of Luna
Metaphysical / Paranormal eventThough the war over earth lasted over a hundred years Luna fell overnight. It is unknown where Anguis the twilight snake came from but she appeared on Luna with an unbeknownst fury. With a single breath she scorched the atmosphere rendering the moon inhospitable to human life within a matter of hours. After which she encircled Luna thrice and fell into a deep sleep. She has only awoken twice since then each time heralding disaster for the inner planets. Without support from Luna earth quickly fell. The last radio transmission was heard August 2437 and its contents are highly classified.

Mars attack on earth
Military actionAfter the fall of Earth the Mars Theocracy decided that the planet was too dangerous to continue existing. They launched the largest military campaign in the solar systems history in an attempt to smash a state sized meteor into the planet. Before they reached Luna's orbit Chemosh intercepted them decimating most of the fleet. During the battle Anguish woke for the first time and consumed the remnants of the army. After the battle a solar system wide treaty was signed disallowing any spacecraft from coming within a million miles of earth.

Jupiter System Aliance is founded
FoundingThe colonies of Jupiter agree to founding an organization that will control the resources of Io and distribute them fairly among the colonies, and mediate between disputes among its members. This action formally brought an end to the Io Proxy wars though the fighting had ended three years prior.

Anguis Wakes up
Metaphysical / Paranormal eventThe second time Anguis has awoken since her appearance. It is unknown what caused this even but its effects were felt throughout the solar system. Many powerful psionics died within minutes of her waking and others had nightmares for years or went mad. Arcea cores began functioning erratically sometimes bursting with powers and other times running completely dry.

Mars immediately accused Venus and the Jupiter System Alliance of breaking the Earth Space Treaty but calmer minds are trying to discover why they would start appearing now when in the past arcea had all died when straying too far from Luna.
