Ko Rava

Ko Rava is a Leishu Runescribe Wizard, a founding member of the Misfits of Mayhaos, and a main character in the Torn Leyline and Gangs of Zyniii storylines. Hailing from the Rava Clan, a noble dynasty of famous explorers and cartographers, Ko possesses not only wealth but a deep connection to the mystical leylines that sustain the world’s balance. Her journey is defined by her dual roles as a scholar of ancient magic and a survivor of immense personal tragedy, and the crossroads she often faces because of this. Initially joining a group of adventurers tasked with stabilizing fractured leylines, Ko’s experiences—including the catastrophic fall of Diomeda—left her disillusioned and estranged from her allies.   Seeking solace, she would eventually allign herself with the Yakuza, a  powerful and influential gang of Leishu in Zyniii, where she found a new sense of family and purpose. Her character is marked by a fierce loyalty to her chosen kin, and a constant struggle between her reverence for dragons, her cultural heritage, and her growing disillusionment with the world.

Torn Leyline Tour

Episode 1: Never a Dull Day in Zyniii
Ko Rava’s journey began in Zyniii, where she entered an emerald-themed tavern that served as a melting pot of chaos and opportunity. Within its walls, she met an eccentric group of adventurers, including Zyanya, a glowing elf with commanding confidence; Arthom, a feisty and quick-tempered dwarf; and Gurval, a gentle yet intimidating blue Phratt’ii paladin. She quickly assessed them all with her sharp wit, forming first impressions that were equal parts teasing and pragmatic. The night took a dramatic turn when two hulking green creatures emerged from a portal, wreaking havoc in the tavern. Despite the group’s lack of coordination, they fought valiantly to push the creatures back. This encounter revealed the tampering of the leylines, a mystical force central to Ko’s mission as a runescribe. Master Nakah, a respected figure from the Lazarus Wizard Academy, confirmed the disturbance and tasked the group with protecting the leylines. This moment marked the beginning of Ko’s alliance with the Misfits, a team she would come to know as both comrades and challenges.
Episode 3: Nariel’s Great Hunt
Ko and a fragment of the group found themselves disoriented after what seemed to be a hallucinatory transition, where she spent some time in another realm. The chaotic reunion with Arthom, who aggressively charged at V, a green-skinned companion, escalated tensions within the party. Ko worked to de-escalate the situation, though her attempts were met with resistance from the stubborn dwarf. The group’s ordeal intensified with the arrival of a dragon resembling a moth, an otherworldly figure whose presence rekindled Ko’s ancestral reverence for dragons. Torn between awe and the chaos the creature represented, she resolved to protect it, even if it meant challenging her companions. When the dragon opened a portal and released strange dog-like creatures, Ko realized the stakes were higher than she imagined. The event left her exhilarated yet deeply unsettled, questioning her role in a world that was rapidly changing.
Episode 4: Nightmares of the Heart
The party’s journey led them to a realm of dreams corrupted by a nightmare dragon. While attempting to rescue dreamwalkers trapped within this surreal landscape, Ko encountered a mysterious figure in her dream who claimed he would return to speak with her. His cryptic presence left her both captivated and terrified. During the chaos, Ko accidentally injured Syrus, a green-hooded Solen, while blinded. Though her remorse was evident, she masked it with her characteristic sarcasm. Despite the group’s success in defeating the nightmare dragon, Ko felt a deep sense of guilt and betrayal—both to herself and to her gods. She emerged from the ordeal questioning her strength and her ability to navigate the increasingly blurred line between duty and destruction.
Episode 5: The Dragon Slayers
Ko’s discomfort with her companions grew as they celebrated their triumph over dragons, earning the title of “Dragon Slayers.” Sharing a glance of unease with Syrus, Ko’s inner conflict over the sanctity of dragons and her role as a protector of the leylines deepened. At the same time, Ailill, a fellow runescribe, revealed he had been in correspondence with Master Opah, further reminding Ko of her mission and her distance from her mentor’s guidance. Her confusion culminated at the bar, where she reflected on the group’s actions and her own sense of displacement. Though she participated in the victory, Ko’s heart was not in it, as her respect for dragons clashed with the reality of their return as harbingers of chaos. The group found themselves entangled in political and moral dilemmas. The Phratt’ii sought to exploit dragons for power, while the Solen harbored secrets surrounding a dragon egg. Ko grew increasingly distrustful of both factions, her loyalty divided between her companions and her Leishu heritage.
Episode 6: Inside the Sun Dome
Inside the Sun Dome, Ko encountered the glistening architecture and wary stares of the Solen people. During the mission, she crossed paths with Zyanya, gambling and cheating in a local establishment. Despite her disdain for politics, Ko couldn’t ignore the underlying tensions within the city. The revelation of a dragon egg and whispers of lowering the Sun Shield reinforced her suspicions. She decided to align herself with Zyanya and Mura, convinced the Solen were hiding something critical about the egg’s origins and purpose. The group split, with some returning to Kum’s camp to prepare an ambush. Ko, however, remained behind, her unease growing as she awaited the inevitable clash that would test both her magic and her loyalty.
Episode 7: Battle of Dabh
Ko, along with Zyanya and Mura, decided to investigate further, uncovering fragments of the city's hidden agenda when spying on a meeting between Syrus and Tali. She resolved to protect the dragon egg, recognizing it as a sacred link to her people’s gods, even as doubt lingered about the Solen and Syrus’s true intentions. This episode marked the start of Ko’s growing wariness toward authority and the difficult choices required to uphold her beliefs.
Episode 8: Darkened Souls
Ko awoke disoriented, clutching the dragon egg as tensions within the group escalated on the case of Lucid's ressurection. Nakah then opened a portal to a Mokuna temple. Confronted by a formidable woman from the Phrat'ii colony, Ko felt cornered. The stranger’s demands for the egg ignited Ko’s defiance, but she was acutely aware of her limitations in the face of such power. The party was fractious, with alliances fraying under the weight of their growing distrust. Ko observed her companions with mounting unease, the fractures in their bond reflecting her own internal turmoil. Though the group managed to fend off their enemies, the conflict deepened Ko’s fears about her ability to protect what she valued most. Her connection to the egg remained unshaken, but her trust in her allies was rapidly eroding.
Episode 9: Defenders of Lore
While exploring a water temple, Ko, Gurval, and Zyanya faced relentless attacks from witches guarding the sacred site. Though her magical abilities were taxed from protecting the dragon egg, Ko used her runes to create gusts of wind that pushed the witches back into the abyss. She relied on Gurval’s physical strength and Zyanya’s cunning to defeat the remaining enemies. Despite the group’s victory, Ko felt increasingly detached from the mission. Her trust in Master Nakah’s guidance remained steadfast, but her own sense of purpose wavered as the complexities of the leylines and their guardians weighed on her.
Episode 10: Past of the Pantheon
In a secluded monastery, Ko was granted visions of the gods. Each deity—Azadeh, Cicero, and Foo—revealed truths about herself and her companions, offering cryptic guidance. Foo, in particular, hinted at a destiny awaiting her that even she could not fully grasp. This experience reaffirmed her connection to the divine but left her questioning how best to align her path with their will.
Episode 11: The Ercule Tournament
Imprisoned in Diomeda’s Colosseum, Ko’s tactical brilliance shone during a brutal gladiatorial battle. Paired with Arthom, the group’s druid, she outmaneuvered their twin opponents with her mastery of runes and fiery magic. Though victorious, Ko could not ignore the barbarity of the games and their grim reminder of the world’s corrupt undercurrents.
Episode 12: Aras’ Champions’ Ball
Amid the grandeur of the Champions’ Ball, Ko navigated a tense atmosphere rife with hidden agendas. Her thoughts lingered on the fractured leylines and the dragon egg, which weighed heavily on her conscience. Though the ball offered a fleeting sense of normalcy, Ko remained wary of what lay ahead, knowing the peace was temporary.
Episode 13: The Fall of Tearmo
Diomeda’s destruction marked the darkest chapter in Ko’s journey. The city fell to volcanic wrath, and Ko, despite her efforts, could not prevent the loss of countless lives. The screams of the dying haunted her, and she blamed herself for failing to uphold her duty. Shattered by guilt, she abandoned her companions, retreating into the shadows to grapple with her failure.

Gangs of Zyniii

Haunted by her failure in Diomeda, Ko returned to Zyniii as a shadow of her former self. She avoided the Lazarus Wizard Academy and her mentor, Master Opah, unable to face the weight of her perceived failures. Instead, she drifted through the city, cold and alone, until she encountered a trio of Leishu outcasts: Misato, Naoto, and Taro. Misato, the group’s de facto leader, saw Ko’s potential and brought her into the fold, dubbing her part of their "gutter rats." With their shared struggles and mutual understanding, the Yakuza gang became Ko’s new family. Misato’s maternal strength, Naoto’s youthful energy, and Taro’s quiet determination, as well as intimacy, offered Ko the support and camaraderie she had long craved. Her runescribing skills proved invaluable to their operations, from reconnaissance to safeguarding crystal warehouses.   Though Ko found a sense of belonging, the Yakuza’s brutal methods often left her conflicted. She chose to look past the darker aspects of their work, convincing herself that their targets deserved punishment for their corruption. She entered a relationship with the Leishu Yakuza Kobun named Taro.
Episode 6: Yakuza Youth
Ko’s newfound stability was shattered when her sister-figure, Misato, was killed during a mission to defend a crystal warehouse from raiders. Arriving too late to save her, Ko was confronted with the brutal aftermath: Misato’s dismembered body and the chilling heat that reminded her of Diomeda’s destruction. To her horror, the attackers included her former adventuring companions, the Misfits of Mayhaos. Rage and grief overwhelmed Ko as she screamed at them, unwilling to listen to their explanations. Gathering Misato’s remains, she turned her back on the Misfits, blaming them for their indirect role in the tragedy.   Returning to the Yakuza headquarters, Ko clung to her younger brother, Naoto, and her boyfriend, Taro, desperate to shield them from further harm. Misato’s funeral was a somber affair, attended by countless Leishu, but the loss left a void that Ko vowed to fill with vengeance. Her anger at the Misfits hardened her resolve to protect her Yakuza family at all costs.
Episode 7: The Kobuns
Following Misato’s death, Ko was thrust into a leadership role within the Kobun division of the Yakuza. Her first mission was to eliminate Jorvan Jorwick, a corrupt aristocrat exploiting Yakuza resources. Despite her careful planning, the mission quickly descended into chaos. Ko and Naoto infiltrated Jorvan’s establishment under the guise of delivery workers, using illusion-crafted crates to gain access. However, their plans were disrupted when Jorvan refused to cooperate and revealed a hidden djinn to protect himself. Determined to complete the mission and protect Naoto, Ko resorted to setting the bar ablaze, forcing Jorvan out of hiding.   The group succeeded in killing their target, but the collateral damage to the building and a near-fatal duel for her partner Taro left Ko grappling with guilt and frustration. Though she emerged as a capable leader, the mission underscored the challenges of balancing her tactical mind with the emotional weight of her role.

Social

Contacts & Relations

The Misfits of Mayhaos
Zyanya: Zyanya’s glowing confidence and commanding presence fascinated and frustrated Ko in equal measure. Ko admired Zyanya’s radiant self-assurance, yet she often saw echoes of her family’s prideful nature in the elf. Their dynamic was a mix of rivalry and mutual respect, with Ko drawn to Zyanya’s charisma while remaining wary of her overconfidence.   Gurval: Gurval’s gentle demeanor and steadfastness provided a calming influence on the group, though Ko often teased him for his simplistic views. She appreciated his reliability in battle but sometimes found his idealism grating. Despite her sarcasm, Ko harbored a quiet fondness for the towering Phratt’ii and valued his unwavering moral compass.   Arthom: Ko’s relationship with Arthom was the most contentious. The fiery dwarf’s stubbornness clashed with Ko’s sharp tongue, resulting in frequent arguments. However, beneath their antagonistic dynamic was a begrudging respect for each other’s capabilities. Ko often masked her admiration for Arthom’s tenacity with biting humor, but their mutual frustrations belied a shared sense of duty.   Syrus: Ko shared a quiet understanding with Syrus, the enigmatic green-hooded Solen. Both struggled with inner conflicts, and their unspoken connection often surfaced during moments of doubt. However, Syrus’s mysterious nature kept Ko from fully trusting him, leaving their bond tinged with curiosity and caution.   Lucid: Lucid’s aloofness intrigued Ko, though his enigmatic presence also made her uneasy. She viewed him as a valuable ally in combat but struggled to discern his motivations. This uncertainty created a dynamic of mutual respect laced with wariness.   Talu: Ko’s initial impression of Talu was one of protective curiosity. Talu’s fiery breath and foreign demeanor contrasted with her oblivious nature, which inspired Ko to take her under her wing. Ko’s interactions with Talu were marked by a mix of teasing and genuine care, as she recognized Talu’s potential despite her naivety.
The Yakuza Family
Misato: Misato was the heart of Ko’s Yakuza family, embodying strength, determination, and maternal care. She took Ko under her wing, offering the stability and belonging Ko had long sought. Misato’s death shattered Ko’s already fragile psyche, leaving her consumed by grief and guilt. The loss of her sister-figure became a defining moment in Ko’s descent into vengeance and moral ambiguity.   Taro: Taro, Ko’s boyfriend, provided quiet support and understanding during her darkest moments. His calm demeanor balanced Ko’s often chaotic emotions, and their bond deepened as they navigated the trials of Yakuza life together. Taro’s steadfast loyalty became an anchor for Ko, reinforcing her commitment to protecting her newfound family. His intimacy, a new experience for Ko Rava, also proved a satisfying distraction from her trauma.   Naoto: Naoto, Ko’s adoptive younger brother, brought a sense of playfulness and levity to her life. His youthful energy and determination reminded Ko of the innocence she had lost, inspiring her fierce protectiveness. After Misato’s death, Ko’s bond with Naoto grew even stronger as she vowed to shield him from harm at any cost.
NPCS
Master Opah Master Opah, Ko’s mentor, played a crucial role in shaping her early identity as a runescribe. Though she often bristled under his strict guidance, Ko deeply respected him and sought his approval. After Diomeda’s fall, Ko avoided returning to him, unable to face what she perceived as his inevitable disappointment. Her unresolved feelings toward Master Opah symbolize her struggle with self-worth and the weight of expectations.   The Gods Ko’s encounters with the gods, particularly Foo, Azadeh, and Cicero, profoundly impacted her understanding of her role in the world. Foo’s cryptic insights challenged Ko’s perceptions of herself, while Azadeh and Cicero offered glimpses of the balance between duty and personal conviction. These interactions deepened her spiritual connection but also amplified her inner conflict, as she grappled with the divine expectations placed upon her.

Religious Views

Ko Rava’s spirituality is deeply tied to the Leishu reverence for dragons and the leylines. Though her faith is not centered on structured worship, she has profound respect for the gods, particularly Foo. Her encounters with this deity strengthened her connection to the divine but also left her questioning how best to fulfill her role in their grand designs.

Social Aptitude

Ko Rava’s personality is marked by her intelligence, sarcasm, and resilience. She often hides her vulnerabilities behind sharp humor and a confident exterior. Fiercely loyal to those she considers family, she is willing to make personal sacrifices for their safety. Her curiosity drives her to seek knowledge, though her introspection can lead to moments of self-doubt and guilt.

Recruitment

We landed at the Crystalline Tavern, this place is still beautiful as ever. Nakah popped in with Kayra through some awkward portal thing. She didn’t look thrilled, and honestly, same.   Zy and Zeno strolled in like they were in a music video, then immediately froze when they saw the scene before them. Nakah brought Moggwith him and kept calling him “Na-me,”   Syrus and I poked fun at Arthom for being tiny. Needed the laugh, since tension was thick. Nakah pulled me aside, said I was “killing the vibe.” We had it out a bit. Turns out he’s been messing with portals again and "might’ve" dragged in another Zeno. Perfect, thatsolves that mystery.   We’re gearing up to take down the Triad and get Yifeng back. Whole plan involves rallying a bunch of sketchy groups. Ywkuza, pirates, elf mafia, you name it. I’m on Yakuza duty. Lucky me, get to talk to Oyabun.   Zy and I decided we would copy the egg to set a trap for the Triad tobring them out to sea. Should work... hopefully.   Anyway, we split to recruit, and held a funeral for G and Ilyanna.   Here we go again Master Wish me luck

Meaningless Murder

There was so much blood. Everyone was beaten and battered, we lost G and Ilyana. For what?   We made it to the safe house without setting off alarms. Yi Feng’s mother was there. Tension poured off Yifeng. I was ready to burn the house down if Yifeng asked me to. She didn’t. She walked in instead. Brave, stupid but brave.   She tried to talk. Tried to reason. Things went south fast. They yelled at each other in Mokuna language. Until her mother walked towards me ready to strike after the fat dwarf pushed me, idiot.   Then her uncle showed up. The one that nearly killed me last time we infiltrated the Triads HQ. He moved like lightning. Snapping arms, grounding warriors, tossing power like a god. I shot him with lightning, barely slowed him. Lucid gave me shadow armor. Syrus shouted with rage. We tried. We all tried.   He snapped Ilyana’s arm like a twig, then punched her until she stopped moving and her body turned limp. He killed G too. Just like that.     Arthom lost it. He became something else. It still wasn’t enough. The uncle grabbed me by the neck, slammed me into the wall. I thought I was next. He threw me to the ground and I activated a shield as if that would prolong it.   And then the Triad came. Swords at our throats. We were done. Until Yi Feng’s mother begged them to spare her daughter. One crack in her armor. One truth in all this, she still loves her.   I looked around the room, my friends, my family. On death's door, Arthoms lifeless body lay there, my heart broke. Then as if fate would have it, I saw him again. My God, my protector. Watching. Only me. He looked calm as if to tell me it wasn't my time. A wave of relief flushed over me. Before long, portals opened a wave of green, and then nothing.   We woke up at a familiar tavern, emeralds. My friends bloody and battered. But I’m alive. We’re alive.   I don’t feel lucky. I feel hollow.

School Trip

Going back to school was... weird. I only wanted to go back when the time was right and I deserved to ascend to higher levels of magic. Going back now was not for that reason, Traids had managed to sneak their way into the school, well kinda. Word spread that one of the girls, Chi Ling, was dating a triad member, I was hoping it wouldn't be her but oohhhh my Goooooods, there are so many reasons as to why I left and she was one of them!! "Ko Rava this, Ko Rava that", the worst thing is that she's SO FUCKING STUPID. Genuinely DUMB, I've never met a less intelligent creature than her apart from the grumpy old fat Dwarf.   Even though I dreaded going back, it was actually quite a fun day, returning back to classes, Master Natsu had informed me my katana belonged to her ancestor. It was given to me just before I left, so it makes sense that I had never had this discussion with her.   The mission was a success however, everyone going undercover was quite funny. Zy did a splendid job of concealing everyone who would stick out a bit more, and everyone played their part well. We successfully infiltrated the school and got what we needed. Yifeng stole a letter out of Chi Lings bag which was from her boyfriend in the Triad. We elected that jumping and kidnapping him after school was the best way to go about it to get information out of him.   how could this plan go wrong?

Tavern Brawls?

I think I'm going to have to set myself on fire to get rid of this smell, soaking in a bath hasn't done anything. I still smell from the sewage. Dear Azadath I'm so self conscious, no one seemed to care though thank Eoin, except for the tiny short one. I keep the ring he gave me on a chain around my next, I'm not ready to forgive him, but I understand it happened of out self defense.   One of the slaves we saved from the Triad came with us to the Tavern, poor Lupo looked so traumatised, his name was Okamwhoworst. We agreed to return him to his village when we could, for now he's frolicking around Zyn'ii. I honestly have no idea where he went after we got attacked by some Triad members in the tavern. I used a new spell I learnt on one of them, I showed them their deepest and darkest nightmare, dude clawed himself to shreds. Wasn't what I intended but it worked... Man was severely disturbed I was doing him a favour.   I still need to learn to control my new powers given to me. Otherwise a repeat of the situation with the council will happen. I don't intend to accidentally give a bunch of councilmen amnesia again, my bad. Master Opah told me that he would teach me to control my powers properly, never got that far before I left. Speaking of which he tracked me down to the tavern, I tried to discretely crawl away from his eyesight but the man teleported in front of me! That never worked on him after years of trying, the only way I could escape is when he let me...   He told me that there were infiltrations of potential Triad members within the students, he asked me and the other misfits if we could assist in discovering their identities, there we could find out more on the Triads goals.   You know what that means... I've got to go back to school   Help.

What the SHIT

SHIT. ALL. SHIT. WHY YOU MAY ASK??? BECAUSE TRIAD, THAT'S WHY. It was worth using Saibs information and finding the slaves they gathered. While simultaneously filling their HQ with SHIT. SHIT!!! GENUINE SHIT, FLOODED. WITH SHIT Who's the Giant Nusaru????? I dunno what he was doing but he helped us get to safety with minimal... fecal damage. He just randomly appeared in the sewer!! Whatever Talu and Lucid did it's stick in my fur now so FANTASTIC.. I had to BURN my fur and hair off, leaves and water wasn't going to be enough this time. We did get some Intel about the Triad breaking the agreement, they w been smuggling Yakuza goods and ridding us of resources. Not to mention they've been keeping Yakuza members as slaves for human trafficking. Oyabun will not like this, I have a feeling if anything this will be the reason for gang wars to start up. That is what the cultists are doing, they're trying to turn them on one another. As usual, this can't be a good sign, but when is anything ever good when it comes to us. Fucking Shit

This is wrong

I feel I've made progress with the Oyabun. Edo'ghan cultists came to the Yakuza to gain power, probably because we destroyed their temple in Zynii and needed support behind them. They chose the wrong gang to corrupt, my Yakuza would never choose corrupt power that could eradicate the world.   I was right, thank Eoin I was right. I don't know what I would have done if they had been infiltrated. I feel that I've already lost the family I found, I can't let anything happen to my Yakuza. I've fought too hard to let things go now, in order to achieve my goal of peace. I needed both my Yakuza and the Misfits, no matter how things have gone in the past, I cannot let it get the better of me. It would be hypocritical considering I have killed so many, most with families...   Gurval has absolutely been possessed, I'm sure of it. He's been eating other creatures and his powers have mutated, they are followed by red lightning. I don't know what this means, but it's not Gurval. I have never seen magic quite like his, and I have researched all different types of magic in the Archives, both at school and the village within my families collection. I was hoping to discover why my magic was different to the others, why basic spells were harder to control. Master Opah helped me... Maybe he could help us with Gurval too, he might know what this is. I wish you would just tell me, but you're all about the "LeArN iT yOuRsElF" aspect of life...   It's not just Gurval, who I don't believe we would be seeing for a while, but all the misfits are on edge, something big is coming. I need to get closer to the Oyabun, I need the Yakuza's power backing me until I can take over and use it for myself.

Strength

Forge was a weak link, he could've gotten himself and all of us killed. Only the strongest should've gone to deal with the cultists, he had no place there. He could've been useful as reconnaissance not going head first into the battle expecting to win as a mechanic. He was lucky that Lucid, Ailill and I were there, he would've died without us. Never again. I refuse to work with someone as hopeless in battle as him again.   We managed to take down the Morvor cultists and their base in Zynii along with framing the Triads for it. I'm hoping this will be enough for other groups to invade the Triad as a revenge scheme. That will make it easier for me to get the leaders head, or at least credit for taking down the Triad.   I only hope it will be enough to save my brothers and protect Misato's reputation.   I still haven't forgiven the misfits for their part in her death, however I'm finding it easier to work with them again. Trust isn't on the cards just yet, not until I can guarantee they won't stop me from reaching my ultimate goal.   Only then, can I forgive them.

Meetings and Mayhem

A letter arrived to me, one from the Prince and I can only assume the other Misfits received them too. Naoto wanted to come with me, however with Taro only starting to walk again, he needed to stay behind for assistance. Alas I went alone, a Tanuki man gifted me a flower, a kind gesture but weird. I didn't understand his motive so I just accepted it and continued on until I found other misfits close to the entrance.   Zy and I decided to suss out the other parties and do a bit of recon. I figured since royalty of Diomeda is alive, that bonuses offered by the King may be still be there once we save the kingdom..   That was until Zy and I saw Zeno making out with someone else, things got a whole lot more awkward... Then Lucid strolled up to us saying that Arthom was poisoned and we needed to help, only to find him absolutely fine. Slight relief, only slight! At least it got me out of that awkward interaction between Zeno and Zy.   Things got a whole lot more complicated after we went down stairs, I made connections with the Prince and his sister. Questions asked which had been eating me alive since I discovered what had happened at Diomeda, I got answers.   I wanted to ensure that there was no way this army of theirs would be infiltrated by the cultists. Immediately proven wrong since the Zeno we saw kissing another, was actually a shapeshifter.   I have my doubts, but as long as I can get rid of the corruption caused by other cults. I don't care what else happens.

The sea battle

I'm not one to show weaknesses but I swear to the gods, I do not belong on the seas. A fresh set of eyes gazed upon me. The female Nusaru Prince Liuni brought on board. Froblina, I believe her name was. She's a water monk, and a follower of Cisero.   I'm surprised she decided to stick around, during her introduction Gurval picked her up by her head, and I let my intrusive thoughts win, I stroked her arm. Slimey and sticky, to be expected.   A random gray elf slunk down from the rigging, sipping seawater like it was fine, I stared in horror, but said nothing.   Lucid handed a very seasick looking Arthom a bottle of rum. Arthom didn’t seem to want it so I took it upon myself to not let it go to waste, I snatched it the moment Lucid turned away. Only Syrus caught me, we met eyes, and exchanged a nod of acceptance.   As the ship gained speed, Lucid took the helm. He was clearly a bit rusty since he was ROCKING THE DAMMED SHIP. I braced myself to whatever I could find, I had to chuckle, he looked like he was having fun.   The monks, Froblina and Yi Feng, focused their energy and channeled their chi to manipulate the elements. It is highly common in Leishu villages to become monks, or at least learn to channel chi, a skill I failed to accomplish.   Water surged, pushing the boat forward a terrifying speed while the air currents forced the ship to stay on route after projecting a large wind burst which sent the ship air born.   Talu landed mid-air onto Gallant, while I grappled onto Gurval, landing squarely on his head. Syrus managed to fly up to avoid the chaos.   The Golden cow suddenly appeared through a portal behind Gurval, much to my surprise.   I looked up at Lucid laughing hysterically until he smacked his face into the wheel. Karma   After we had settled, Gurval had asked me if I could write, and proceeded to ask if I could etch everyones names onto his wooden arm with my dagger, it touched my heart, just a little. "I can teach you to read and write," I offered. Whether he accepted or not, it was his choice, though he seems pretty content.   The enemy ship grew closer and the monks slowed their pace, Syrus flew ahead to scout. "Nusaru," he reported, "I don't know if they're cultists, but they seem like it"   My fingers tightened around my weapon. I didn’t need to hear more.   Lucid called for attention. "Misfits. Crew. The enemy is within reach. Gameplan."   We formed a plan quickly, Zy and I would shroud the ship in illusion, keeping us hidden. Zeno would stay with us as backup. Gurval, Arthom, Froblina, Yi Feng, and Lucid would board and handle the cultists. Yi Feng would locate any hostages and get them to safety. Syrus would remain in the sky, watching from above giving assisstance if needed. Then when the time came, they would all teleport back, leaving me to burn the ship down.   Simple. Effective. Deadly. I like it.   The battle unfolded in controlled chaos. Cultists conjured a massive stone slide in our path, but I was faster. I sprinted to the ship’s edge, with my katana drawn, I carveda bright pink rune into the air. The magic pulsed, forcing their ship to shift just enough to evade.   Zyanya, dropped to one knee, straining to maintain the illusion. I spared her a glance but I knew she could handle it. Meanwhile, the two monks slowed our ship until we were side by side with the enemies. Gurval, teleported the boarding party through a misty cloud, placing them onboard the other ship.   The Nusaru raised their crossbows.   Lucid met eyes with the elf who had killed his father, Moadhóg. Lucid leapt to attack. The battle commenced.   Yi Feng vanished below deck in search of hostages. Syrus, Talu, and Zyanya unleashed their ranged attacks at Moadhóg, arrows and magic missiles flying.   I didn't know what was going on below deck, but all I saw were Nusaru one by one, dropping their crossbows and leapt into the water. Nicely going for a diplomatic solution, Yi Feng got her wish.   My attention was drawn back to Lucid and Moadhóg, watching from a distance, I saw an opening. With my sword I summoned a lightning bolt and aimed it straight at Moadhóg. Target hit, Fuck yeah.   Zyanya, shouted at Lucid, "Don’t be a pussy!" I smirked. Not bad advice, it seemed to work however, Lucid threw attacks at him like I had never seen before, his speed and precision were astounding. Until he ripped the enemies head clean off. Sweet holy Eion. Seemed a tad aggressive with that one.   We decided that with the Nusaru off the ship, we'd bring it back to Zynii as payment for a deal everyone made with a pirate crew. I dunno, something like that.   With this finished, it was finally time to deal with the Triad, and it'll be a lot more difficult than this was.

Reunion?

Sleeping full nights was an impossible task nowadays, with Taro in critical condition and Naoto in danger of being thrown onto the streets again, along with other... situations arrising, there was a lot on my mind, and not much time to figure out what I could do about it.   It was pitch black outside, the stars speckled the night sky and the moon was full, nothing could hide from its gaze... including this tiny Leishu who was trying so very hard to hide behind the shrubbery, little to his knowledge his entire tail was in full view, swaying in the crisp breeze. "I can see you... you're not very good at hiding for what I can assume is a theif?" The little one looked slightly offended by my accusation, only to tell me he was helping Gurval give me a message. Since when did that big dumb dumb get informants? The misfits never ceased to surprise me. My heart hurt thinking about them.   "I am not a thief! My name is Makoto and I was instructed to tell you that Gurval has an informant with inside information about the Triad" the little one, Makoto, spoke. "If you want to meet them, tomorrow at noon, meet at the Emerald district Tavern" He said before scuttling off, still trying to stealthy his way around the shadows, failing miserably of course. Cute.   Well that was a bombshell, the Triads are another active gang within Zynii, more ferocious and corrupt than the Yakuza, they know nothing of mercy and their actions cost thousands their lives. The Yakuza have been wanting to shut them down for decades. With information I could relay it back to the Oyabun, or even infiltrate them myself. Then that means I could regain our reputation within the branch, but, it means working alongside the misfits. There's no way I could do it alone. I just didn't know if I was ready to face them again, properly. I was so conflicted, so many emotions swarmed me, hurt, excitement, fear, rage. Everything I had pushed down since Misato's death had surfaced. I was a wreck.   Yet again, it was another sleepless night.   Noon had come, I was waiting around the corner of the entrance to the tavern, hidden. I spotted the tiny Leishu out front, next to a young female Mokuna, was this the informant? Makoto whistled and Gurval appeared at the door, I walked over towards him. His grin was wide and toothy as per usual. He introduced me to Yi Feng, an exTriad member with family ties to the Triad.   I knew what I had to do, my pride on the line. Let's get this over with.   I walked in behind Gurval, the misfits went silent and stared at me I disbelief, this is getting awkward. "I need your help" great start Ko, really selling it. Gurval explained to the group with Yi Feng chiming in about her mother being the head of the Triads, she wanted her mother out, with diplomatic methods. Right like THAT will work, I need her head, or maybe a finger.   Afterwards, it was my turn, I told them how Naoto was in danger because of their raid of our crystal storages and Misatos death. Added the guilt in there to persuade them. I think it worked, they exchanged awkward glances towards one another.   I wasn’t sure if I was getting through to them, but I had to believe that they would stand with me when the time came. They had to, after what they did. They agreed, but we had to discuss tactics.   Then, Lucid spoke again, and his words chilled me. He revealed the fate of his father, his stepmother’s betrayal, and how Larion had fallen into chaos under Morvor’s cultists. It was a story of treachery and war, and it reminded me why we could never let our guard down.   Zyanya mentioned she had a contact who might help us, immediately after, Liuni Jupius, the Prince of Diameda, appeared before us, alive and well. He confirmed that the Cult of Enkelados had overthrown the government of Diameda, with plans of conquering many more kingdoms. According to the prince, The cultists had begun infiltrating gangs with hopes of using their strength, the Triad being the main one, even more reason to take them down.   That was when I realized how much bigger this was than just us.   I turned my focus back to our immediate problem. I needed names, descriptions of Yakuza members working with the cultists. If I could get that information to the Oyabun, I might be able to use it as leverage. Meanwhile, Syrus and Saib were involved in some gang war outside Zynii, pushing drugs and power plays through expansion, but they had their own plans to destroy the gang while they were spread thin. Gurval, on the other hand, was searching for his, wife of sorts? She may be in Diameda, and he wanted his damn cape back.   Through it all, Arthom and I couldn’t help but trade jabs. It was how we worked, sarcasm was safer than sincerity. But beneath it, I knew we were on the same side.   Then Lucid said something that stuck with me. "Every time we spread apart, people die. The group needs to stay together."   He was right. As much as we all fought, as much as we were broken, we were stronger together.   We laid out the plan, find the Morvor cultists before they could arrive at Larion. If we could take them down first, it would be the quickest and cleanest way to stop at least one branch of the cultists. Then, once they were dealt with, we’d turn our attention back to the Triads, using whatever intel Yi Feng could get us, especially anything about her mother.   The night ended the way nights with us always did, in chaos. Lucid drank Arthom’s ale until he couldn’t stand. I watched him collapse, wasted and miserable, and I understood.   Because, deep down, I felt the same way.   But there was no time for regret. The war was coming. And ready or not, we had to fight.

The Mission

Why can't ONE thing just go to plan??? I was instructed to lead the Kobun for such a simple task so why can't things just work out for once??   We killed him so that is that, figuring out what to do and how to go about it was insane. If big sis were here, we wouldn't have had a problem. She would've known what to do from the beginning, how to finish this without interruptions.   This was my first mission in charge, and although the target was still killed, I felt like I failed. We scouted the building after alerting the security that we were there. Waited for nightfall until patrons were low and we had the dark to our advantage. We scouted the establishment during the day, found a back entrance and we decided a plan. We'd go through the back door with illusion crafted crates and hoods, establishing ourselves as deliveryman.   Stubborn bartender wouldn't follow us into the back room, so that was a hiccup along the way. This stupid annoying frog wouldn't back off either, staying uncomfortably close to my face, I was looking from eye to eye because they were too far apart, there was no way he could see me that close.   He followed Naoto and I outside, pulled out his rapier and demanded a fight. For the love of Foo why now???? Luckily Taro took him on so we could finish the job. Jorvan Jorwick, a ripe pain in my ass, the owner of the establishment. Our target. He's much too trusting with deliveries, allowed us to walk straight into his storeroom.   He wouldn't follow us on after much convincing, so we decided a plan to cause a ruccus by breaking bottles and spilling alcohol in the back room. We heard unhappy grunts and words as he made his way over. We got the jump on him finally. Only for him to push us back with a large amount of force without touching us. He had a djinn. Shit. Headquarters tell us nothing. There was nothing Naoto an di could do, and I'd be damned if I let another one of my family die. I did the only thing I could think of.   Set the bitch on fire. It was a bar, highly flammable right. It went up immediately, I dragged Naoto outside, only to see Taro lying next to the fucking frog, shit. He had a pulse but it was weak, the frog looked pretty dead. I didn't bother checking.   I looked back while Naoto and I dragged Taro's body back to HQ, the building was on fire. We are so going to be punished for this. Why can't things just go right for once??

Naoto

I never should have let her go alone. I should've been there. It was Naotos shift to guard, there have been recent thefts at our crystal warehouses and the four of us had been tasked as extra backup in case the security guards weren't enough. We got intel that a group of various species had begun raiding the warehouse. Misato and Taro were instructed to provide backup for Naoto. I wanted to go with them, but I was given a separate job by Miss Kanoe. Taro and Misato were strong, stronger than me so I had no doubt they had the capabilities to take on this no named band of thugs. I had intel to gather about a corrupt aristocrat threatening one of our establishments in the ruby district. My powers had become very useful for info gathering, it made me feel important and necessary.   My mind often wondered to the misfits. Their whereabouts and if they thought about me as much as I thought about them. I missed them, truely. However I found my own people, people I believed to be my family. I've never been happier. Big sis Misato found me alone in the cold, she brought me into her little "gutter rats" she called them. A group of nobles had seen the three of them as younger Leishu, drenched from the dirty water, they spat that name at them. She called us that so no one could use their words against us. That's the type of person she was. Strong, brave and determind. She was kind, almost motherly. After gathering some intel, I decided to go past the warehouse to scout out the situation. I found nothing out front not long after arriving I heard a commotion far away "It must be them" I thought.   Naoto always loved to be flashy, for a ninja he wasn't overly stealthy. As I got closer the sound of swords, bows and almost animal noises? filled the surrounding areas. I could smell blood. lots of it. I could feel the heat, a heat I could only associate with.... Diomeda. This couldn't be good. Something was wrong, I started to panic, adrenaline look over. Memories of charcoal corpses and burning flesh filled my mind. My family was in danger. I sprinted towards the fight. My lungs in pain, my legs giving out, but I didn't care. I had to save them. "Please" I begged the gods. don't take them away from me too. I was too late. Misato, my sister. Torn to shreds and burned right before my eyes. Her body scattered, her arms, her legs, her head. Her blood. So much blood. I couldn't think. Where was Naoto? Where was Taro? I couldn't see them. Were they alright? were they even alive?   Before I could think. I screamed, I used all runic force I had to push them all back away from her... or what was left. I screamed at them, ready to draw my weapon. Only to hear voices I had longed to hear again. My heart sank, it broke further than I thought possible. It was them, my Misfits. No. Not mine. Not anymore. Gurvals voice boomed, drawing my attention to the rooftop where he had Naoto and Taro, with their eyes covered by him so they didn't see Misato. Relief washed over me seeing them alive in Gurval's arms. He beckoned me to get the two leishu. Gathering my thoughts I turned to my sisters skull, picked her up and put her remains in my bag so I could bring her home. Gurval lowered himself with Taro and Naoto, I grabbed both their hands and begged them not to look. I didn't look back at the misfits, I couldn't. I wouldn't.   We got back to the living quarters. Everyone begun to ask us questions, we were in too much shock we could barely speak. Taro informed everyone of what had occurred, his face showed a blank expression I had never seen, his spark was gone. I gave Kanoe the bag, as she opened it a wave of devastation flashed upon her usually stone face. Noises tuned out, I felt nauseous, I looked over at Taro. Misako was my sister, but biologically she was his. He was in shock, Naoto was sobbing. I didn't know what to do, so I grabbed both of them and took them to my room, away from the chaos forming downstairs.   I heard a noise on the balcony, a boom and gust of wind. Misato's sword and a scrap of her armour had appeard, Gurval.   I broke, clutching her sword, her armour shrapnel cutting me. I broke.   Not long after Zy and Zeno appeared, they sung a hymn for us. Offering us their sympathies and apologising for not getting to the scene sooner. It wasn't her fault.   Misatos funeral was that night, hundreds of candles surrounded, and even more Leishu. A member of our family was lost forever. Something big is going to happen, I can feel it. The yakuza won't sit idly by, and the misfits know it. They're dead to me.

My Yakuza

I tried going back to the school, I just couldn't. I couldn't bring myself to see the disappointment on Master Opahs face. Weeks passed and Diomeda was constantly on my mind, the people we killed. Their screams kept me up at night, the smell of their burning flesh as they cradled their now silent, lifeless children. I missed the Misfits, the chaos and joy they brought me, but just like my biological family, they threw me aside too.   The streets of Zynii were cold, lonely and full of corruption you'd never see as an outsider, gang warfares ruled in the cover of night. I had never been so hungry, so alone. That was until I met big sis Misato, little bro Naoto and Taro, three Leishu like myself. Betrayed and alone in this world, the only difference is they were apart of something underground, something that showed results. They had their own motive for their actions, but we all shared the same thoughts and ideologies. They brought me into something that would actually cause a difference.   The first night I entered the Yakuza’s compound, I felt like an outsider in a world that didn’t care about my past. I had once been on a respectful path, to become a scholar, an archivist of knowledge no longer known to mankind, but after Diameta fell, my magic had diminished, it had weakened. My family didn’t understand my magic, they only saw it as an impractical, fragile and weak. I thought they might have cared, that they might have stayed by my side. But no, when I reached out to go home, there was only silence.   The Yakuza didn’t care about bloodlines, titles, or failures. They saw only what I could offer, my knowledge, my skills, and what was left of my determination. At first, I tried to prove myself through magic, inscribing runes for their protection and to disarm any traps or spells while on missions. I wasn’t a fighter anymore, not like them, but my magic still had purpose. The Yakuza watched me closely, Taro seemed particularly interested in me. He didn’t judge my weakness, but instead, observed quietly, like someone waiting to see what I would do at any moment.   The Yakuza didn’t expect me to be perfect. They didn’t care that I was weak, that I was frail, that I was still haunted by my failures. Instead, they taught me to survive, not by power or strength, but by wit, by patience, and by loyalty. They taught me that survival didn’t mean being the strongest, it meant being able to endure and finding strength in the most forsaken places.   Kanoe, a cunning woman in charge of our branch took us under her wing. She didn’t teach me to fight like a soldier, but to fight with my mind. “Your mind’s your weapon, little scribe,” she would say, clapping me on the back with a grin. It was through her that I learned to trust not only my knowledge of runes, but my ability to outthink my enemies, to play the long game.   Gradually, the Yakuza became more than just allies. They became my family. They didn’t ask for my past. They didn’t care if I’d failed. They didn’t expect me to be a warrior or a mage of legend. They needed me to be loyal, to be clever, to contribute what I could. And that was enough. Everyone was here for a reason, our ideologies all encouraged us to be apart of something more.   Our missions were never corrupt, however I'm not proud of some of my actions, most branches of the yakuza are relentless. Will do anything to get the information they need. I was apart of some of these missions, rendering others paralysed or traumatised. I decided not to go through with an interrogation. Set the man free, only to find out he had been exploiting millions from the Yakuza funds and destroyed our own that got in his way. From then on I understood, the people we targeted were corrupt, they made the world toxic, and they had to be removed. To achieve peace. Our main task as Kobun was to protect the crystal warehouses, at least one of us on guard at all times. To attack on sight if anyone was to try steal from us. The four of us had dealt with many thefts, some slipped between our fingers. Others were not so lucky having to deal with us. We did recon and scouting missions, gathered information to which my runescribe powers came in handy. Through these tasks we became family, brothers, sisters and more. I had a new family, one of which was my own kind. One I would kill for   They didn’t need me to be perfect. They didn’t see me as a failure; they saw me as a part of something, as someone who had something to offer. When I faltered, they didn’t cast me aside. When I hesitated, they didn’t judge. Slowly, I began to feel what I had never felt with my real family, belonging. I missed the misfits, all those nights I had yearned for them, their comfort and all the chaos we had created, but they too had left. I wasn’t just surviving anymore. I was part of something real. The Yakuza, for all their brutality, were bound by loyalty, and in that, they became my family. Perhaps, in the end, this was the strength I had been seeking all along, not in runes, not in blood, but in the bonds I had built with those who had accepted me as I was.   I will never let anything happen to them. I swear on the Gods

Entry Thirteen

Little did we know the volcano's erruption would be the destruction of Diomeda. The We fought the priestess who killed the King, however to no prevail. Most of us, me included, were busy with the invading army. Another prince died   We failed, again.   Death and destruction all around us. I wasn't strong enough to hold even one soldier back. The people of Diomeda were good, innocent people. They didn't deserve to die, not this way. This corruption of unjust actions towards the weak and innocent. I can't stand our failure any longer, these power hungry vicious individuals have to pay. They cannot be allowed to live, to do this over and over again.   Something has to be done, Nakah barely got us out of there alive, not before we could see the kingdom flooded in lava. Gearing peoples screams, subjugating everyone to their deaths, their terrors. We saved no one that day but our sorry assess.   I'm returning to Zynii, with much hatred in my heart. I will return to you Master, but I don't think I'll be the same. I come back a failure, I'm Sorry.   Ko Rava

Twelfth Entry

This was the first proper etiquette orientated outing since leaving my homeland , how exciting. I haven't been in high society for quite some time and I quite miss being distinguished. I was concerned for the others however, I don't need to have eyes to know they've never been in high society, the tiny angry one especially. Hence why bought him the dress shirt, which he'll never know about of course.   Everyone surprisingly scruffs up quite well. The ball itself was classic, Zy and the Golden male we saw in the arena somehow appeard together, Gurval with a wife? I don't think he knows he got sold a female... Most surprising was th feel nakah with Lucid. That was too much to unpack.   We sat, laughed, ate together. Everyone was happy, it's a rare sight, it's nice. I feel at peace with this group. I feel like I found my people finally. After years.   The king had a gap in people at his side, Gurval decided to go up and converse with him. Shit. I figured I should go up with him in case he does something. To my surprise he bowed respectfully and properly as a knight to his king should. What in the gods?? He is a paladin after all, that was unexpected.   Talu came up with us, only to suddenly smell a putrid stench, I looked, behind me only to see ARTHOM giggling with a long green stream of cloud coming from his finger towards us. Sorry talu, I'll have to let you take the blame for this one, this is my chance at a connection to royalty. After alight converstaion I bowed to the king symbolising the end of our interaction, only yo turn around and see a heavily intoxicated Arthom giggling like a child. Alright, next problem, babysitting....   I was following him for a bit until all of a sudden we heard a crash, Gurval was against a wall. Before any of us could react, a cloaked figure had dashed towards the king, grabbed his sword from his side and thrust it through his chest. He burst up in flames right before our eyes.   Can't we just have ONE F**KING NIGHT WHERE THINGS DON'T GO WRONG!?!?!?

Eleventh Entry

A Colosseum???? Before any of us could turn to Nakah he rushed away with Zy, Gurval and Jon. Leaving the rest of us confused as to why we were here. Roza informed us that this arena was in the kingdom of Diomeda, and that this was The Ercule Tornament. My knowledge of this land is minimal, however the mysterious disappearance of Ercule spread even to the Northern most village in the East. My village. A strange phenomenon, I have a skight feling the key lines were involved, I don't ever feel a connection to them, but here was different. It was an almost tingling sensation, might not have been from the leylines at all. I'm unsure.   We were trying to find a way out of the cage when a soldier walked in, he told us we had to participate in a 2v2 battle with the gladiators or we will be killed. A little excessive if you ask me... Roza and Syrus went up first. The gates closed behind them and I saw the two competitors walk out from the other side. An older looking Aurelian Elf and a cocky looking Gold Elf strutted out. Peacock. Zy would be fond of this one. Turns out Roza and the Golden one called Zeno were acquainted, after a brief introduction Roza proceeded to hit him with her axe. Gladiators are extremely weird, I don't understand them in the slightest. Not only that but midway through the fight he attacked and murdered his own teammate. Horrifying, these creatures are so corrupt.     Well it's a good thing I didn't need Arthom to win this battle, much to my disappointment he ran out after me . We fought twins, one green one blue , they weren't very good fighters. Arthom wildshaped into a giant dog again but was thrown against the wall. I used fireball to attack them but in the end, they knocked each other out and we were declared the winners.   Thus giving us all an invitation to the gladiators ball.   Till next time my master, Ko Rava

Tenth Entry

Another ley line rift appeared, Master Nakah teleported us to a temple surrounded with monk Mokuna. I had never known such tranquility, the temples and shrines back home were nothing compared to this. The foundations crafted from the surrounding elements, the peace and respect between each Monk. I'm not one for meditation because I got bored, but here I understood why people followed this path.   Here we met Master Gifif, who sat us down, lit some incense and guided us back through time to meet some interesting characters. The first was a half Rojikan princess trapped and isolated due her fathers fear of what her representation could mean to the people, the salvation from the dark elves. she was Azadeh, the Goddess of Fire. The second, a Human, familiar looking one at that. We recognised him from the emerald inn, he looked nearly identical to Ailil, or Ozgar. I can't remember which one was which... The small angry one bowed with a level of respect I never believed he possessed, so this was his deity. He presented a flower and I giggled, not at the flower!! About how submissive he looked. I felt bad after he looked a little hurt and embarrassed. So i returned the gesture, gifted him a flower which I assumed was a way of showing upmost respect. The Third, an Aurelin Elf, a sturdy soldier at that. He was a calm and collected individual. Cecerio, the Water God The Fourth was an interesting experience. The god of Air, Foo. He was a character, seemed to know everything about us, even more than we knew ourselves. Zy asked him about the blue god we saw in our dream with the druids. All he said was that my time would come and I'd meet him again. I stayed silent. After that was confusing, like all of a sudden I missed a chapter. Deja Vu but in reverse. Foo ended it with something was coming, and we should all be ready. Before the high fiving of course.   Then all of a sudden we were back in the temple, awoken. Before us stood Nakah with a portal open and a large grin.   What do you think Master Opah? Your faithful pupil, Ko

Ninth Entry

The occurrence of attacks was wildly spontaneous, one minute the group was all together. the Next we split up and entered different rooms within the water temple. Gurval, Zy and I ventured to the room of Cicero, where we were very kindly greeted with an attack from a band of witches. They kept flooding up the stairs so I used my Rune wind to force them back down into the abyss they came from. Only 3 were left in the end. Whom of which were dealt with quite swiftly thanks to the weird capabilities of Gurval and Zys trickery. With the egg still in my possession, I was not at my strongest. Why we were here, I did not know, I did not understand. However it is where Master Nakah brought us, I have faith in him.   Apologies for the short letters recently, my mind isn't quite right at the moment, I will be ok but for now I remain confused and disorientated. Your faithful pupil Ko

Seventh Entry, continues

The day of the attack was here, as nervous as I was, I understood what was at stake and what had to be done. Zy came into my room with Syrus, time to observe the market and potentially buy some things.   Nothing caught my eye unlike Zy, buying everything left right and center. Syrus offered to pay for a lot of our stuff, which made me feel kinda bad after accusing him of suspicion resulting in us holding a KNIFE to his throat!! Not going to lie, I was very confused the entire time. bygones be bygones I guess. I wonder how the others at the Phrat'ii camp were holding up, hope they were still alive.   I knew the Solen were corrupt, they were not better than the Phrat'ii, planning on harvesting the dragons soul and placing it in one of their soldiers, not on our watch, so I suggested we steal it. The perfect distraction arose, the war had started, excellent timing.   Zy and I infiltrated the temple, we managed to get through with no troubles somehow. Zy cast illusion on the egg so they wouldn't notice it was gone, I ran behind and grabbed it. It was light, and warm, so full of life. I felt a connection, an urge, to protect it with my life, and that I shall.   We reunited with the others outside the temple, they had engaged with Kum, they were after the egg. My egg. we weren't strong enough compared to him. Lucid was slashed badly, we had to escape, there was no chance of us winning especially with him down. Master Nakah opened a portal to the druids, we took Lucid and retreated. My tainted thoughts ran wild, I hoped that both sides destroyed the other.   The female Phrat'ii had snuck through with us. She said there was a way to heal his wounds Which were too much for the druids to heal, Our only options, let him die or give him a soul through Phrat'ii magic. I didn't want him to die, but something about this felt so wrong, I could tell the others felt it too. Especially Gurval and Arthom.   If you have any knowledge on these rituals, please write to me. I know nothing of this, if something goes wrong, I want to be able to save him. Please Master, help me.

Eighth Entry

I don't know what happened, everything i such a haze. Between Lucid's resurrection with the soul I feel that I missed some vital chapters since when I came to, I was clutching my egg with the big boobied woman atop the stairs ordering me to give her my egg.   yeah... nah who does she think SHE is demanding ME around?? A noble of the highest family in the northern tribes of Leishu? The audacity of this FIEND. This woman was powerful, I remembered her from the jail. She has strength, much of it, I was no match for her if she was to take the egg by force.   The group felt off, everyone was on edge, not just from the potential fight, but with each other. whatever it was, it could not have been good. Tensions were high, but we had bigger things to worry about.

Seventh Entry

The group ventured towards the Solen Kingdom as requested, sorry DeMaNdEd by Kum. Nakah and Gallant were held as collateral We decided that it was a sound idea for Talun and Gurval to essentially be restrained as a means to not look overly suspicious to the Solen, you know, because of the whole Lupo history and the fact Gurval is a Phratt'ii, even if he is weirdly genocidal. Surprisingly, the sun dome was easy to enter into, well infiltrate in our case realistically. With many glares and curious observations we walked along the city, to come across a good house of sorts. Which I was able to waltz into, with a promise I would only observe and not do anything illegal, damn I hate being a minor. In the corner of my eye, a glistening golden hue revealed itself and a familiar voice arose. ZY!! Gambling... cheating??   After exiting the goods house, we made our way to the Temple to meet with the Pharaoh, Syrus was the only one of us who could actively communicate with her since the small angry one was still in the ugly warhound form. Apparently they have a Dragon Egg, well it'll be mine soon I've decided. something about the sun shield being lowered was mentioned, I didn't really pay too much attention. I don't have the brain for politics or tactical strategies. All I could think about was the Dragon egg. Why did they have it? Where did they find it? and what were they planning on doing with it. I didn't trust them not to abuse our gods power, even though the Solen and Leishu have always been guided by the Dragons, something corrupt was afoot.     Poor Talu was strapped to a pole, we brought her water and food, however it was just cruel. I don't trust them with the egg. The party split, half would stay, the other half would go back to Kums camp and inform about the sun shield and to ready an ambush. Gurval, Lucid and Arthom (in wolf form, only one that can speak Phratt'ii) left. The rest of us laid in wait of what was to come. War.   This is getting intense Master. I don't know what to do, I could use your guidance. Your faithful pupil, Ko

/Sixth Entry.

I have a very bad feeling about all of this, I don't trust the Phratt'ii, not one bit. However the Solen are Suspicious beyond belief.   The Phrattii want to kill my god for its power, attempting to sway us with a 40 -60 deal of power. Giving us a slave (who might I add was exceedingly attractive for a lizard...) The Solen on the other hand are suspicious, hiding something. for such a serious threat they chose not to let us speak to the Pharoh, not show us the egg. We will find out their secrets. for now we remain on their side to help the golden dragon. I know that Zy and Syrus believe the same. Perhapse we need to devise a plan while the others travel back. Perhapse Mura will have some ideas, she always seems to know what to do.   There was not time for a longer letter Master. I apologise. Till next time Your faithful pupil,   Ko Rava .

Fifth Entry.

The celebrations of murdering dragons makes me uncomfortable. We've kidnapped a victri and apparently holding it hostage. Syrus and I exchanged looks, both clearly uncomfortable with the title we were bestowed "dragon slayers". The confusion set in as I had no idea what I was to be celebrating, the return of the dragons, or the murder of them. At the bar simmering in my confusion, Ailill sat next to me, mentioned you, Master Opah. Said that he had been exchanging letters with you of my actions and whereabouts. He left his position at the school for the cause of the Leylines, as a runescribe wizard it is also my soul duty to protect them.   Before long, Master Nakah had opened a portal to the next leylines fracture. We all stepped out, except for Zy... I say stepped out, more like fell down a large hole into a prison. There was no gate, no door, no way out but up. Glancing over we saw a grey figure with red glowing eyes. Almost as short as the tiny angry one. They began talking in a language I can only assume was dwarvish... That about answered our questions, there was something eerie about that character though.   Cyrus flew up to check how we could escape, only to be greeted with 6 Phrat'ii guards. Whoops.   He flew back down to us to report what he had seen, only to be levitated out of the hole and see that over 30 Phrat'ii had joined. "Ahh beans".   Lucid quickly threw an oil lamp over the group as I set them on fire with my totally epic powers. Took out a few. Then I got tiddy hit by a giant purple elf, honestly wouldn't be the worst way to go.

Fourth Entry

People are SO dramatic. I was blind and accidentally hit Cyrus. of course I feel bad, but I didn't kill him. I am still quite itchy though from the Small angry ones stupid spell. This is why people have druids, especially short ones with attitude problems. Apparently he has friends. they seemnice, they needed our helpto wake up the dream walkers trapped in a nightmare. They suspect it is the work of a dragon. I didn't want to believe it, but they were right. My God, causing this much havoc.   We went in the dream to help them awaken, to stop the beast. I don't know what to do, there was a man, in my dream when we were trying to save the dream walkers from the nightmare dragon. It was after the other big greens killed ours, took Zy and I hostage. He came to save us, said he would be back for me, to talk. He was captivating and I'm terrified of when he'll come back. what does he want? Why is he here. I could use some guidance right about new Master Opah.   We fought the nightmare dragon, Stopped it. I feel like I have betrayed my gods, but I was powerless to do anything. I need more, to become stronger. to understand my capabilities. To kill everyone if I have to.

Third Entry

Maybe those mushrooms Valenna fed us weren't exactly what we thought they were... one minute were hallucinating a portal, the next were face to face with the short angry one. Who looked more angry than usual. After a quick survey of our surroundings and situation. In a delirious state I noticed Lucid lurking as per usual, the angry one seeing red and yet again, non familiar lands. At least we had found the group. Well a quarter of it at the very least, no idea where the others were.   Before I could ask or even comprehend what had just occurred, Artham drew his weapons and charged toward V (Our very green and large companion we picked up along the way). Before anyone could react, Zy cast illusion, where a giant grey smoke cloud appeared, halting him in his path.   I told him repeatedly that she was with us but he wouldn't listen. Finally Zy held up her finger to his mouth which seemed to make him even more furious but we managed to get though to him. His reaction wasn't uncalled for, Since her species did attack us back at the inn. We explained that she helped us in the other world while we were stuck there the past few weeks. His face contorted with Confusion, turns out weeks for us, had only been a few days for them. Master Nakah has some explaining to do.   Before long Syrus dropped in, startling all of us. "The dragon" he huffed out. Everyone sure as shit had some explaining to do. Just as I was about to demand information, plunged before us, sure as hell. A dragon. Not one I recognise from the scriptures within the temples back home. This one looked almost like a moth. Thank god Gurval wasn't here, you know, given his whole commit genocide for Phrat'ii folk and co.   The dragon opened a portal and 4 dog like creatures walked out and took up their position in front of the dragon. I couldn't hear or understand anything. All I knew was that something bad is going to happen, the world is changing. If dragons are back, war will return to Mayhaos, the Leishu will rise with the dragons. Excitement arose in me, I must protect the dragons at all cost. Even if it means killing this lof if I must.   The dragon flew off, leaving its guards. Before long everyone else showed up, Tallu with a scarily large dog, as did Nakah. He closed the portal, and glanced at me. This monkey has a lot of explaining to do.

Entry Two and a half

I... have a respect for master Nakah's strange research and knowledge... However his practical jokes desperately need more work. I would hardly say being trapped in a strange forest full of weird creatures unbeknownst to this realm with Zyanna is quite my idea of fun! At least I'm not stuck with the short angry one. Could've been worse... COULD'VE BEEN MUCH BETTER THOUGH. A learning curve I guess, there was a reason Master Nakah chose Zy and I for this journey and I'll be damned if I let him down. Could have chose a nicer place though.   The group was instructed to travel through a portal of Master Nakahs creation so I'm Sure the others made it safely. Poor Zy was less than enthused with our drop off location. Stumbling out of the portal, a nauseous feeling crept up to me as I proceed to throw up last nights dinner. If Zy was feeling ill at all she didn't show it in the slightest, she is truely amazing. "I'm okay!!! No need to worry about me" I yelled behind her as she walked off. I ran to catch up to her. We troughed through the foreign forest for days. Hunting vermin we had never seen let alone eaten. It was trial and error with plants and creatures. We made an effort to stay away from things with spikes and with more than four legs, just to be safe.   A week had passed. We stumbled across one of those Big Green creatures that attacked us at the emerald tavern. It was apprehensive at first but Zy managed to calm it down with her magic, incredible power.   Communication at best were grunts and hand movements since neither of us spoke whatever language the big green did.   However she hunted and gathered for us, would make disheartening grunts and states if we even attempted to pluck a fruit. Which I'm guessing was big green for "no" or "bad food"? Who knows. All I knew was that I was glad we weren't on her bad side. More big greens would emerge from the forest. Their power and brute strength was something I had never experienced.   The two fought back at the tavern were nothing compared to the capabilities of these creatures. We would have died if not for our big green. Her strength and willingness to turn on her own species sent shivers down my spine. Only one question drifted though my mind. Why? After much observation, I still haven't come to a conclusion about her erratic and indifferent behaviour towards us made it hard to relax, at least we had protection until we found everyone else. Zy had quickly adapted to another creature waiting hand and foot for her.   This realm was like nothing I had ever seen. The grass was as green as the emeralds had been back at the tavern. The plants, varied in species. Some neon colours others were almost translucent in the suns glow. The creatures were equally if not more fascinating. Small creatures you could never catch, using their surroundings and layout of the land to their advantages. What was truely interesting was their behaviour, taunting us, almost childish as if playing a game of 'Kiman' (a game of tag young leishu would play). They varied in size and colour, no bigger than 2 foot.   The temperature was never too hot not too cold, the sun never burnt and the water was never icy. It was always perfect. We had come across some humanoid creatures. Almost elf-like. Although not nearly as pretentious... *Cough *Cough Zy... They were peaceful, delicate and much like the fury creatures, varied in vibrant colours. They tended to the land, helped us gather without speaking. Although they were taken aback and sceptical about our big green.   What was truely wondrous about this place, were the nights, the plants glowed as did the fury creatures and critters on the trees and plants. The elf like creatures had different glowing patterns, almost like fingerprints to humans.   Before we knew it weeks had passed, Zy and I had been light headed and our senses had been dimmed, vision blurry and thoughts scattered. We almost have up hope of finding the others, than as if almost comocal, we saw a glowing green portal. Here we fucking go.

First Entry.

Well Master, saying goodbye a week ago had been hard, with no one to guide me with my life and my journey of discovery, I came across a Tavern covered in Emeralds. What a strange yet intriguing place.   I walked into the Tavern and was immediately drawn to a.. Wolf? breathing fire. Anyone from the city of Zyniii would know to never order a fireball whiskey if they wanted to keep their fur. You know what that means... a foreigner. Time to scab a drink. I   50 percent success rate? Worked out swimmingly, swimmingly as in getting drenched in vodka. I don't remember her name but she told me to call her Tully, so that's what I'll call her. She seemed like fun, a little oblivious to the world, guess I'll have to take her under my wing.   I overheard a green Mokuna speak about he was a great wizard at The Lazarus Wizard Academy... This was it! What my master Opah had instructed me to do, to join the Academy and become a great wizard. I must do everything in my power in order to get Master Nakah to notice my potential.   Other interesting creatures popped up throughout the evening.   Arthom. A tiny bald Dwarf with an attitude problem. I don't know how we will ever see eye to eye. you know, because he's so short.   Lucid. He was a mystery, and had a weird accent. Didn't discover too much about him, but he seemed cool. The green Elf was offered a position by Master Nakah at Lazarus Wizard Academy... Will stick close to him.   Gurval. A giant blue Phratt'ii paladin with a funny accent. Seems like he wouldn't hurt a fly, also seems like he would lack some brain cells.   Syrus. This Green hooded Solen seemed interesting.. also unsure as to whether or not he's a cannibal. Got along very well with Arthom, don't know if that is a green flag or not.   Zyanya. SHE GLOWS, seems cocky and narcissistic. I like her very much. Reminds me of my family, but she has a lot of influence which good be useful to charm my way into the academy.   Maiv. The Aurelian Elf bartender, she was quiet but very observant, I have a feeling she will be very useful to the party.   Before long, two huge green creatures stumbled through what I can only describe as a portal. The group fought valiantly until the creatures had been pushed back through the portal. Master Nakah had then told us that this was caused by the ley lines being tampered with by some greater force. It is my job as a runescribe wizard to ensure the leylines are kept protected and returned to their natural state.   I guess this is where my path has taken me. To protect the leylines... apparently with this group of misfits.
