Abyssus 3: "Fields of Glory"
General Summary
On the underside of the Abyssal forest, the party finds the delver camp of Esta the Scaled, a Crimson Medallion. Elwin insists on taking advantage of the amenities. Esta recognizes Xena, telling how she rescued Xena as a child from the Fields of Glory on the third layer from beside the corpse of her father. Esta gives ominous warnings regarding Decima and Stakris, two other Crimson Medallions.
That night, the party makes amends with the help of Finan, and Rime spends the night with Elwin. The next day, the party descends to the Fields of Glory, seeing Pius Salutio descending beneath them. In the fields they find an unmarked grave and a mysterious obsidian structure which opens with the help of Xena's bracelet.
