Abyssus 1: "Threshold"

General Summary

Xena, Rime, and Finan meet Elwin, Pius, Stella, and Vera at the Whispering Cup Inn in Vel Aeterna, at the edge of the Abyssus. After a tense contract negotiation between Elwin and Stella mediated by Finan, the party sleeps.

In the morning they descend, and a large earthquake sends them tumbling to the first layer below. After an encounter with an Owlbear, the party regroups at camp, with Xena, Pius, and Stella all worse for wear. Vera reveals that she's worked with Decima, a legendary Crimson Medallion Delver. That night, the party dreams of their destiny.
