Mukil Ronto
A loxodon wander from the Ito Coastline, Ronto hoped to find aid for his village in exchange for fighting for Welthrone in the Tech-War. However, before he could enlist, he was caught up in the Massacre of the Dawn, and became one of the members blamed for it. Forced to join the Band on the Run, Ronto would eventually help uncover a plot against the Welthrone royal crown.

Personal history
Born to a warrior tribe of Luxor on the Systro River, on the borderland known as the Ito Coastline, the people of his village worshiped Imperious, the Celestial Paragon of Warriors. Seeing themselves as stalwart protectors, they were in constant conflict with another tribe who followed the dark god Chaugnar-Faugn, led by a powerful Luxor named Retuj. When Mukil was still young, his father Vonroos was slain by Retuj, instilling a burning hatred in Mukil of the followers of the Hill-Horror, beyond the normal steadfastness of his village's warriors. He jumped at the chance to join the village militia, and soon became a battlefield commander, helping keep his people alive in the heat of combat. His zeal became all-consuming, but when his childhood friend Hatul confided in him that his parents had begun experimenting with the dark powers of Chaugnar-Faugn, he demanded that Hatul turn them over. When he refused, Mukil took it upon himself, turning in Hatuls parents. The authorities, trusting Mukils time worn valor, imprisoned and executed Hatuls parents without trial. Feeling guilty, Mukil's family formally adopted Hatul, but their relationship was never the same. Eventually, the cults activity began to increase, and Retuj returned to the area, constantly raiding the village. In dire straits, the village sent out representatives across the world, seeking aid. Mukil was sent to Welthrone, hoping to gain the aid of the wealthy nobles there, but the nobles only promised support if Mukil would fight on the front lines of their latest invasion of the technologically advanced city of Nenu-Lan. Mukil agreed and headed south to join the war effort.
Before arriving at the front lines, Mukil stopped into the famous Rising Dawn Tavern to rest from his long journey. He sat with a table of other wanderers, but then the rest of the tavern was slain in an event known as the Massacre of the Dawn. Mukil and the others would eventually shoulder the blame for the deaths, and they were forced to flee the area and form the Band on the Run. Determined to clear his name, so that he may return home in honor and still achieve the aid he sought, Mukil lead the bands efforts in uncovering the mystery behind the event. Eventually making their way to Capital Welthrone, they discovered an emanate attack on the royal family and the World Tree itself by daemonic forces. The group intervened, saving the day and earning a royal pardon from the king.
His honor restored, Mukil was gifted a group of elite guards and left with them to return to his home and continue the fight for his people.
