The Wicker Goat
The oldest tavern in Saltmarsh, the Wicker Goat is run by one Lankus Kurrid. Given Lankus's history in the army, his establishment often caters to members of the Saltmarsh Guard and Saltmarsh Mining Company. The second floor has rooms for rent, offering housing to the occassional travelers passing through town.
Purpose / Function
The Wicker Goat exists to function as a hub of the community, and it especially caters to veterans, the town gaurd, and other loyalists such as the Saltmarsh Mining Company. Now that Lankus is running for interim council member, the inn doubles as a center of campaign management and political advertisement.
Architecture
Constructed over a century ago, the Wicker Goat is a rustic colonial building made with lumber from the forests that once covered the entire region, but have since been pushed back to the Dreadwood and Silverstand. Over the years it has been repaired by the Carpenters Guild, making it somewhat mismatched.
