A cyphermonk temple in the north is attacked, yet a discovery is made.
Following the events at the ARPA ruins, an Aonaran and Kalas headed north to track down the "Jailer" who was responsible for the Battle of Ethana.
They find he had assaulted and enslaved a cyphermonk temple. Aonaran and Kalas headed in and freed the cyphermonks from the mystical chains forcing them to make binding circlets the Jailer intended to use on the populace in the Markovian Alliance.
During the fight to free them, they uncover a working tesseract drive. Perhaps one of the last known devices in existence.
An accident with the drive sent Aonaran to the asteroid colonies in the Centauri Belt. Kalas followed later with Rick, once the tinker had recovered from his wounds.
In the Centauri Belt, they finally cornered the Jailer, ending his threat. During the fight, Aonaran was killed, only to rise as a saint.
