An epidemic of Shorat Flu rampaged throughout Isobrach, devastating the population.

Following contact between Brasians and the outside world introduced the isolated natives of the island to Shorat flu for the first time. The disease wrecked havoc on the Brasians as they had no natural immunity to the disease. It is unknown whether the disease was first brought by Demians or Chol traders as both groups made contact within a short timeframe, but the end result is the same regardless.
