Mount Zua

"Zua appears to have been sculpted by the gods themselves, it is as smooth as a mirror and nearly as reflective men are said to have gone blind from staring at it for too long"
On the Wonders of the Natural World
Mount Zua stands in the midst of the Kabri desert. It is famous around the world for its mirror-like surface and bright reflections of the sun. The mountain is coated in reflective salts that cause the mountain to be visible from hundreds of miles away on clear days. The surface of the mountain is so smooth that no one has ever managed to climb to its summit for fear of cracking its reflective coating with mountain climbing equipment. The mystery surrounding the mountain's summit has inspired the imagination of countless writers and poets from across the world. Some even believe that the mountain is where the gods come to visit the mortal plane when they grow bored of life in Argia. The mountain's base is surrounded by smaller reflective hills as well as the Zua pillars; small columns of reflective salt that stand between half a meter and four meters tall. The abundance of reflective surfaces means it is not safe to view the mountain during the day in most cases. Men are said to have gone blind from staring at the mountain for too long. The Mountain's remote distance from any nearby oases makes it difficult to visit but its reflective nature makes it rather easy to find and many from across the world come to visit every year for the chance to see in person.
